Unit Performance in the Grand Campaign

Post by braccada »

I have always wanted to evaluate unit performance in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. The Grand Campaign finally gives me the opportunity to do so, because equipment is used for a relevant time period.

Starting with GC39 here is the contribution of the different branches and different unit types including special heros. Some surprises in there! GC40 will follow soon, especially the changes over time will be interesting.

I watched both your videos on it, very interesting stuff. Can't stress enough how great the 8.8 is in the early game. Later on also, but then it is mostly restricted to the airfight. But it absolutely mows down the french tanks and all the bunkers.

I too very much enjoyed both videos and the work and effoprt it took to accumulate this very interesting data. I found some confirmation of my playthroughs as well as a few surprises. Really looking forward to how this continues to pan out in the years to come.
