AI Turn 13, 24 September 1917, the Italians attempt to retake Venice, but fail. Austria will need to bring in reinforcements to fill the hole in the line.

The Western front is quiet this week. Allied troops have been spotted positioning themselves. It remains to be seen what they plan. Germany will continue to attack the south of Verdun and hope for a breakthrough.

The Turks have spotted artillery for the first time in Egypt. This could be bad, very bad as the Turks are very low on PP.

The Russians have managed to capture Kovno, but little else takes place on the Russian front.

Turn 14, 8 Oct 1917, Iasi falls, this is the end for Romania. The entire Russian line is in trouble in the south. Vinnytsia is surrounded and Bulgarian troops threaten Kiev. This does not look good for Russia. Nothing has changed on the northern front.

The Austrians position themselves to block any Italian breakthrough. We'll see if they succeed.

Germany attacks just below Verdun. The British take a beating, but hold the line. Even if a hole is achieved it is unlikely to amount to much.

U-boats do what they do best attack transports. This may be too little too late to make any difference. As British and Americans are arriving in force. At this point I believe Germanys only hope is for Russia to fall.
