we're just sorting out some issues with the server setup before release. We're hoping this wont hold thigns up too long. We're nearly there!

We've decided we need one more pass on the compatability just to be sure it's all working. This means we need a few more days. Really sorry to push this back again but we want to be sure its all working as intended.

We'll let you know as soon as we set the date. We're talking a few more days though, not months. Please bear with us!

But in all seriousness – it is appreciated that we aren’t left hanging this close to the release without information; even if that information is simply that you can’t give us more on it other than it is coming.

Slitherine is making compatibility tests of the game in this very moment. And before we know the results of these tests, it's hard to make any promises in any direction. We (or Slitherine) will let you know as soon as these tests are done.

I'm looking forward to it too. A lot.

And yes, the push of the release is of course for the best, to ensure that the game runs well on all computers before selling it. Wouldn't want anyone to pay for our game if they can't play it :)

We've got an issue where we can't get our clean boot XP test system to run the game and we have other XP systems that are not clean booted that do so we're just trying to work out what the difference is and make sure that gets included in the installer so that everyone can run the game without issues. This is whats holding us up - that and the Vermont office being in a snow storm and the staff who are supposed to be doing the testing can't get to work... oh great...

On the coming soon it now has March 8.

Its the right move. I know of another company that released their game early and it was so buggy that it was almost un-playable in version 1.0, and it most certainly was unplayable as multi-player on release.

It seems to be OS related – and you certainly need to keep that in mind.
