Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
A new, "What if?" unit for the Red Army... The KV-3 heavy tank. It was based on the KV-1 design but had a longer hull with seven road wheels per side in place of the six that the KV-1 had. Also, the project included a new turret with a very powerful 107 mm gun. By the time the Germans invaded the Soviet Union, there was one hull built (with no turret) destined to be tested. But the whole project was dropped after the plan to move all the Soviet armament industries to the Ural Mounts was initiated. So, one idea to implement this unit in the game (thinking about Soviet Storm mod) is that this tank can be given to the player as a bonus unit if he succeeds to keep a special hex with a factory in it from being taken by the advancing German forces by x number of turns... Just an idea...
Enough bla, bla... Here is the heavy iron, enjoy!

To round things up, I include in the present post a template to add some assorted rear deck storage to the KV-3 unit, and also a big unit portrait...

A new version of the Kriegsmarine Infantry icon... The figures are more in scale with the vanilla infantry icons... Enjoy!

Akkula:
Thanks for your nice words, I am immensely glad you liked it, because I was thinking about your work when I saw the internet image that gave origin to this icon. I hope it can perform well in the defense of the Motherland!

Sure, time to terrorize those German armor divisions!
By the way, nice new Kriegsmarine icons. I think they look more suitable than the previous versions.
Best regards,
Akkula.

My friend:
I just read your post in your Mod thread, and again I thank you for your nice words and for keeping your work on PzCorps modding, giving us (no matter if we are just a small, but very hard core of PzC fans) a lot of new, and exciting content for this game. Keep in mind that the kind of advanced modding work you do is the reason why I keep making icons.
Also, I am glad you liked the latest version of the Kriegsmarine Inf... I worked on them a little more, specially copying and re-coloring the helmets, to make them more "vanilla" looking. I just did not want to bug you further with those icons, because I knew they were not exactly what you were needing. But if you find use for them now, you can use any part of them for your work, of course!

A unit that was sitting in my "units ready" folder, but I think, somehow was not uploaded here... A bunker...

I think you included it in your last pack
One question: it is a specific theater unit?, western or eastern front?. Or a generic one?

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Indeed... Now that you mentioned it, I realized I forgot about my last "everything pack" upload...
I think this looks like a generic field fortification, made with stuff found in the field: some logs, earth, and hard digging! But I think it would look better in the eastern front, and may be also Pacific theater. In fact, I thought about making it a switch for the infantry combat engineers units, with the capacity to make better improvised field defense works than regular infantry units...

Great new icons Guillermo!
Superb turret of the tank and nice combination of wood and sand for the bunker.
Indeed... mods like Akkula's masterpiece are still an inspiration for further work.
Btw. I don't think that PC I is at end. For instance I'm still playing the GC 39-45 and make the first steps into the new version of Soviet Storm. So the time for me is fullfilled with playing...

Hello Anders!
It's nice to see you around here after so much time...
Thanks for you nice words! Indeed, I like the looks of the KV-3... The secret is to find a good image to start working from! About the bunker, it was "borrowed" from Order of Battle game graphics... It also looked as a good icon to import to PzCorps.
Yes, I also think the PzCorps has still a lot to offer to us. I started playing the Nikivdd modded versions of Afrika Corps and also MPC 35-39... But had to put the play throughs on hold because of lack of free time. I can imagine myself playing good old PzCorps1 for meny years to come...

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Hello Yrfin:
Are you talking about making some aircraft icon in the tail down position attitude? I think that would be easy... What aircraft models would you like to see first in this way?
And a question for you that are the movement types specialist: In the vanilla game equipment roster the Sdkfz.231 6 rad and the Sdkfz.222 has the same movement type and value, but historically, the 231 6rad was just an overloaded 6x4 truck, which was not in widespread service because of its poor mobility, which, I am almost sure, was not the problem with the Sdkfz.222. So, I think that those two unis should have differences in their mobility stats. So the question goes: which movement type would you assign to the 6x4 Sdkfz 231?
Uzbek: There are a lot of variations of cavalry unit icons around here... That, and the fact that infantry and cavalry figures are very difficult to make for me, makes yours a very complicated request...

An old friend... The 10,5 cm leFH18 in a reworked version. I think it looks better than the previous one, and of course, is a better option than using the same icon that the one for the 7,5 cm FK16.
Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
And just for eye candy, this one is the transport for my artillery unit that I use in my current playthrough of the MPC 35-39 campaign. I like to be able to identify quickly where my arty is while being mounted on trucks... May be someone would like to use it... And, as a bonus, a desert camouflaged Opel Blitz (once again, this one may have been already uploaded, but just in case).

Hi guille,
Any chance that you could share that nice camo skin that you used for the "KV-3 guards" unit above? I really like it and think about doing a few Soviet guards units as well for the BE mod...

Awesome, thanks!
As for:
In my mod, for simplicity, they also have the same movement type, but the 6-rad has less movement points. But it would also make sense to make a new movement type and differentiate between "all wheel drive" movement with better off-road speed and "normal" wheel movement with minimal off-road speed. The Opel Blitz also had both 4x2 and 4x4 version, the latter being better suited for off-road use (but obviously not as much as halftracks or tanks). As far as I know about 25% of all the Blitz had 4x4 drive.
