I already posted an icon for a Soviet Sniper team... Here I am uploading the same icon and I am also adding the big unit portrait...
Enjoy!

Thanks Guille, for the mini-tutorial on making aircraft shadows. That will be most helpful and save me time (and frustration) in the future :D

Thank you kindly for the guide! I`ve tried to replicate it using Gimp and it`s a bit different, but I think I got the essentials now. :)
Indeed, i did not think about painting the Belgian insignia on the camouflaged RAF Hurricane... Here is the result of this simple conversion...
That is beautiful! Thank you! If it`s not a complicated conversion do you think you could make the same edit on bebro`s bigunits/info card too? I know some people use real photos or cropped images of models for these, but I very much like to look at the info card and see the exact same graphics from the in game battle card (but bigger) so I can say: Oh, that`s what that tiny thing hanging on the left side actually was! :D

Hello Flak, my all time friend! It is just an insignia swap, but it fills a gap... Thanks for your comments!

Thank you very much! I`ve waited for bebro to expand the Low Countries inventory for years (no criticism intended, I know he`s busy) and I now got this from one day to the next. :D Very happy!

Do you think you could do a similar makeover to bebro`s Italian SM.79 to transform it into an Yugoslav SM.79? The Camouflage can stay exactly the same and the Italian markings on the wings would be covered by the Yugoslav markings:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SM-79_RYAF.jpg
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Roun ... _Force.svg
The trickier parts would be replacing the Italian white cross from the tail with the Yugoslav tricolor and removing that white band on the fuselage. bebro actually made three Yugoslav planes (Blenheim Mk.I, Hurricane Mk.I and Bf-109E) so the national markings could be borrowed from them I think.

Mark50: here we have... I am also filling the gaps in my icon library... Besides, I had to delete the Italian marking present on the central engine cowling.

Here we can see a big unit for the camouflaged SM.79, and the icons for it, and also, as a bonus, a non-camo version of this plane for the Yugoslav Air Force. I hope you like them! 8)

I like them very much! Thank you! I`m able to update a few scenarios now. :D

When you have some time could you please say how you`ve made the non-camouflage version? That texture fits the silhouette seamlessly.

Hello Mark:

The non-camo version was made using the DCS (Dwight's Camo Sprayshop) software... I made a gray colored base icon some time ago, and it serves very well to make versions of that icon in a large variety of color schemes... I also made a non-camo version of the Yugoslav Do-17Z...

Here, I attach the base icon and mask for the SM.79...

Here is the Do-17Z in Yugoslav colors. This version is not based on Bebro's model (which is very good, but looks more like a Do-217 for me), but is made using my own base icon... You have a camo and plain colored version for this unit...

Enjoy!

Thank you!

Yugoslavia did not use the Do-17Z though. They got the Do-17K which has a very different front part. I think it`s similar to the M version.

Until now I`ve been using the one posted here:

Clearly based on bebro`s, but unfortunately whoever edited that did not go as far as to do something about the nose and cabin.

The brave Fallschirmjager were missing some light artillery support for their daring deep behind the lines missions... Here is the 7,5 cm GebG 36. This was a wepong designed for mountain troops, but it was also used by paratroopers because of its relative light weight and the possibility of being disassembled in several pieces for it transportation. In the attached compressed file you will obtain the regular and SE Fallschirmjager units, and also a big unit portrait. Enjoy!

Mark50:

Here are the Do-17K of the Yugoslav Air Force, with the correct front fuselage, I think they look different enough from the vanilla Do-17Z icon... I hope you find them useful!

Thank you!

You should update your The Hague scenario with the new artillery. In the vanilla version the German paratroopers are using a Slovak gun iirc.

Mark: I'm glad you liked those units... As I am not a scenario modder, maybe you are mistaken about the author of the The Hague scenario you mention... :-)

No, I meant the vanilla DLC 40 The Hague scenario. I used the possessive pronoun in the sense that you can update your copy of the scenario. I`ll update mine and so on. :D

The Slovak gun is at 14,17 on the Ypenburg airfield.

Ah, yes... hehe! I am currently playing DLC40, but I have not reached that battle yet... I am starting the Amiens scenario... But I am seriously thinking to update de equip file a bit (add this Fj Arty, make some more units switchable, add some more camouflaged Waffen SS icons and SE units, etc) and start it all over... Too bad the game does not take equipment changes while in middle of a campaign... :-)
