[MOD] Legacy of Versailles

Legacy of Versailles is a colloboration between Churchy and myself. With the assistance of Soldberg, Magic,Wildthing, Maho, Der Wolff, Ghoule, Produit and Metalman.
There will be two versions of LOV.
1) LOV "normal edition" with vanilla units. This implies that this version will be compatible with any personal e-file and especially in honour of Airbornemongo's Total Elite Mod.
2) LOV "ultimate edition" with Churchy's custom units, Soldberg's custom UI.

Let me know if you ever need infos on units (OOB for Poland and Slovakia) for your Fall Weiss (with Slovakia) scenario.
I already have this scenario completed for my upcoming campaign with update 1.11.
I'm still doing some playtesting but I will release my new "Slovakia Mod" very soon. :D

Unless you are trying to spill some beans about Slitherine's planned releases, I guess this means you long to take a break from modding the game, which is sad, but understandable - you sure went way, WAY beyond the call of duty and created some awesome mods at frightening pace. I do hope you continue to stick around at least.

Anyway, I'm sure this project will be great. Maybe you should enhance the ultimate edition with Massi's city tiles? That London screenshot looks quite ... uniform.

Thanks for the offer. Grün and Weiss are as good as ready. I just need to figure out assigning heroes to units.

Thanks Rezaf, much appreciated. This is by no means the end. I will continu providing support and finally take the time for (extensive) playing the other mods floating around and writing feedback. In particular the Slovak and Hungarian mods which are IMO of a very high quality and fun to play. I am also looking forward to the japanese campaign (Banzai) and Chris' steamroller in the east mod :). Unfortunately i cannot play the Maelstrom mod for i lack the necessary content. And last but not least to play some of my creations with Airborne's Total Elite Mod, which truly deserves much more attention.

The ultimate edition will come with Massi's tiles if he can update to v1.11. Then at least i can make some different mission objectives and bring more variation in some of the maps.
Ofcourse mission objectives will not be related to Kings and Queens, political figures,...and definitely no Warsaw uprisal, which is just a plain DLC fuckup.

I have an early, pretty detailed version of Weserübung (including the invasion of Denmark) that I plan to update and polish.

Thanks for the offer Erik but i already have a map. It is a very modest version of (a part of) Norway and Sweden.

May be a little off-topic, but if we talk about fantasy / sci-fi mods... I would love to see Slitherine people to release a good remake of Star General sometime in the future with all the good features of PzCorps and more... :-)

I'm not sure about that! Star General was pretty crap if I recall. The ground-combat was ok, but the spaceship stuff was weak. Try Galactic Civilizations 2 if you want space combat.

Panzer General original and Fantasy General, both took a considerable bite out of my spare time :mrgreen: I didn't play allied general and star general much but i had them :).
