NATO-20: One of the objectives is to hold Smolensk which is protected by UK Aux force. Your core is deployed at some range and need few turns to make it to the city. Yet it appears that you loose scenario as soon as Smolensk Airfield (hex 7,11) captured even if the rest of the city (it's four hexes in total) is controlled by you. More of dice roll than any kind of strategy imo - I tested it few times and since it's airfield and UK force have no tough armor in possession, it's often captured on turn 2 already.

I am slowly working on it uzbek. As I mentioned before, I am having some busy months therefore the motivation is not at its peak.
But I hope to finish the Russian campaign someday, thats for sure.

Best regards,

Hello Akkula,
I noticed an inconsistency in the time scale for SAMs such as S300, MIM104etc.
These units have 2 icons en route and deployed.
When they are on the road, they can not shoot (logical).
The problem occurs with the time scale.
These machines take 5 to 15 minutes to be operational.
However, a game turn largely exceeds this limit.
I think it would be better to use only one icon (deployed) and allow these devices to move and shoot at the same time.
Best regards
Yves

Assuming the base range of these units (4 hexes) it will be overkill. Tbh, I don't use these units at all - HUMVEE-based air-defense do the job just fine (I like German Gepard aswell tho). Besides, AI' S-300/Buk/Kub units never move anyway. And don't forget gameplay limitations - in original PzC it also wasn't way too realistic for Acht-Achts and other AD units to spend entire turn deploying after truck movement.

Hello Akkula,
I also noticed that in your two mods, the traits (exemple minekiller, meng...)are not displayed when buying or when right click on the unit.
Could you tell me how to restore this display?
Best regards
Yves

Hello Akkula, date you plan to release the next version of the mod with the Russian campaign, now we have some better changes in v1.30 (with the abilities for the units) and improved with the unofficial version 1.31 to return to the base to airplanes without fuel). So done a great job we hope to see that latest version so expected by all, thank you for your work and effort.

Hi guys, this thread has run to 18 pages so far, and Akkula last posted 8 weeks ago, is this a finished mod or an ongoing project?
Which page is the download link on?

Hello PoorOldSpile,
Is an ongoing project. Unfortunatelly I have some problems in my personal life so I dont have enough time for modding.
I will try to finish the Russian campaign as soon as I can. :D

In the first post you will find the links to download the first part of the mod: Tutorial and NATO campaign :P

Best regards,
Akkula.

Thanks Akkula, maybe you're working too hard by making the mod too big and complicated?
Personally I'd be happy just to have a set of your new Modern units so that I could insert them into the editor to use when I build my own scenarios.
Can I download your units only, without the Campaigns?
PS- Modders throughout the wargaming and flight simming communites often receive cash donations from grateful wargamers, so can we send you donations for your work?..:)

Is the link on the first page bust?
I click it and it takes me to MdC_1.0 (146.39Mb), but when I click 'Download' it only downloads a PDF file.
Do I have to sign up with Mediafire or what?

Just tested link and it works perfectly fine for me (without registration etc), offering to download MdC_1.0.rar
