Awesomeness! A bit of fixes for NATO aswell by chance? I kind of stuck in Smolensk or something like that (should be in old PMs), though it's tempting to try and exploit current ability to "hotdrop" MBTs across the map to get past few initial turns :)

Hi Estherr, I sent you another one :S, and is still in outbox folder :S

Here, another fix for the next release. Did you all notice the carrier have a mirror reflect when they change the facing direction?. It is embarrasing, but no more!:

Also we can see a new unit for the Russian arsenal, the air defence system Pantsir.

Regards,
Akkula.

Wow!, beautiful unit Guille!. As always.
Very interesting. Definitely it will be added for the second update (I dont think I will be able to add it in time in the upcoming release), it will add a lot of flavour for the naval battles.

Nice to see your units factory working without stop :)

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,
Akkula.

And what is this in the screenshot above, the type of Norwegian small ships?

When all units are available.
I hope we see the version of the multiplayer scenario. On a global or semi-global map, with all sides.
Where there will be missile systems of small and medium range, which can shoot at 10-20-30 or more hexes. More than its radius of visibility.
But also systems of air recons(including unmanned), awacs(fly radar) and land radars.
And similar long-range air defense systems.
Maybe Tomahawks, which can have several moves and the ability to change the trajectory and attack vector. To bypass anti-missile defense systems. :)

The small ships are Skjold class corvettes.
Yes, I am thinking to add the multiplayer option in future releases. I need to work on new scenarios for that purpose, but as you said, it would be a nice and fresh experience for all players who are curious to try new stuff.
The long range artillery/ships/submarine classes are a problem indeed, I need to find a balance between realism and gameplay. Technically they could cover any scenario hexes without problem... of course that would kill the gamplay: imagine your cruiser or anti air system hitting a target at the other side of the map.... But dont worry, It will balanced, just dont look for realism in this aspect :D .
Regarding the missiles, the mod already have a similar example, the Topol intercontinental missiles, you can control them in mid flight. For sure new units will come.
A global scenario is something I am thinking about, of course that would imply to add new critical nations like China, India, Japan to name a few.

To cover an old topic the M2 Bradley should have TOW missiles.

From Wikipedia:
During the Persian Gulf War, M2 Bradleys destroyed more Iraqi armored vehicles than the M1 Abrams.[8]
Although it would be switch mode. In TOW mode [SA=1] the 25mm will not fire, and in Gun mode the TOW will not fire

Moreover the Bradley has a telescope that can identify targets at over 4000m.
In the Gulf War the Bradley spotted for M1's because it had a longer range sight.
After the Gulf War the M1 sight was upgraded to a 3 Field Of View telescope to improve identification range.
Spotting range should be increased on both vehicles.

bradTow.jpg
bradTow.jpg (30.5 KiB) Viewed 5232 times
Note in the Gun mode the TOW launcher is not deployed.
In the TOW mode the launcher is rotated up for use.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

That's great news!

But I have a problem with archive: when I download 248Mb file and try to open it, I can only see "panzercorps.exe" file inside... Is it me or archive glitch?

Even better news, I added a GUID file, dropped it into ~/Documents/MyGames/PanzerCorps/Mods folder and it plays without GME!!!

All I need to do is get Akkula to fix the campaign file and any dummy will be able to use it.

Hi Akkula,

This version is not working for me. I installed it, following your instructions, on GME (which I have used many times in the past), but all I get is Soviet Corps! :(

I own Panzer Corps Gold updated to 1.31 and have the latest version of Win-Rar.
