Slitherine/Matrix Press Event 2012 - Live Feed!

Hi guys,

we are pleased to announce that the Slitherine/Matrix press event 2012 will be on April 23rd-24th in Stresa in Italy. We are flying in developers and journalists from all over Europe to this premier event.

The event is being held at the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees. This amazing hotel has a wealth of history and was an ideal fit for our event.



We will be posting from the event direct to the site in real time with news. And boy do we have a lot of news! We have some major announcements and some amazing projects coming through. It is all very exciting and we can't wait. All the latest info will be posted to the dedicated forum we've just set up. You really need to watch this space as we have some major surprises coming your way next week. Enjoy!

I wish that were true! Getting the press to pay any attention at all takes things like this. We certainly would prefer not to spend all this money to get their attention but that's part of what being a publisher requires!

Please talk some sense into those cheap Matrix executives that don't like to spend a single $ on development for Close Combat. Slitherine is CC fans only hope to save this game.

I hope Slitherine takes over for Matrix on all future Close Combat projects. Matrix just re-used the same old code riddled with bugs, instead of actually fixing it or rewriting into a modern new game. Also I hope that Matrix does not try to turn CC into a 3D, dime-a-dozen First Person Shooter game for kids.

In comparison Slitherine seems to be a first-class well managed business that actually spends some real $ on development.
