28mm 3rd Century Roman army for sale

Post by nikgaukroger »

Finally decided that I need to clear some space and so some unlikely to be used figures are up for grabs

First up is my one and only 28mm army, 3rd century Romans - in FoG terms suitable for a later Principate or early Dominate Roman army.

Based for Field of Glory; also OK for DBM/DBMM, etc. Note, however, that half the Legionarii bases are “proper” FoG HF sizes whilst half are actually MF sized in order to allow the figures to rank up.

Figures are from Armorun & Aquila Miniatures (A&A Miniatures) - http://www.aandaminiatures.co.uk/

Comprises of:

4 general bases; 1 mounted, 3 on foot
4 bases of 3 armoured Roman cavalry
4 bases of 2 unarmoured horse archers
20 bases of 4 armoured Legionarii
8 bases of 4 armoured Auxilia
6 bases of 4 unarmoured Lanciarii
8 bases of 2 unarmoured slingers
8 bases of 2 unarmoured archers
1 camp

26 mounted figures, 175 infantry figures

Also included, essentially as freebies, are figures I never got around to painting:

8 unarmoured horse archers – unpainted
8 unarmoured mounted javelinmen – unpainted
8 unarmoured foot javelinmen – unpainted, no weapon but brass rod included
8 unarmoured foot bowmen – unpainted
7 sundry foot figures - unpainted

16 mounted figures, 23 infantry figures

There are a few pictures of the army here - https://goo.gl/photos/FWXZ5WknuqW8yEfu7 - and I can sort out more if anyone wants.

Looking for something in the region of £550.00 for the lot (not interested in breaking it up) - but am happy to discuss. Any shipping would be extra at cost. If interested drop me an email at nikgaukroger@blueyonder.co.uk
