Field of Glory Reader

Post by stumneale »

Ok I purchased the reader and I see that it is 2.0.2, I thought it was 2.0.4?

Has it been pulled, if so why is it still been advertised?

The pages load painfully slow, have I made a bad purchase?

I think you may need to email Slitherine tech support directly, as this forum doesn't appear to be actively monitored by the Slitherine team.

There has been no developments on the reader in the last few years, and the company that made it (not Slitherine) now appear to have gone out of business according to DueDil's feed from Companies House.

https://www.duedil.com/company/07525809/abannan-limited

"Abannan Limited was registered on 10 Feb 2011 with its registered office in Cardiff. The business has a status listed as "Dissolved" and it had 4 directors at the time it closed. The company's first director was Mr Colin Bennett. Abannan Limited has no subsidiaries."

You could ask on the V3.0 thread if the team developing the next version of the rules intend to support a different reader, but if Abannan are gone, it seems unlikely this reader will be updated.
