I cheated a little..ok, a lot. There was only one hussar squadron in the Kur-Hessian Legion, but given that there's four bases of Hesse-Kassel hussars, albeit in dark blue uniforms, in the 1815 German Confederation corps I decided to expand them to a full small FoG unit. Besides I need that many for a 1:10 or 1:15 scale game. Well that's my story and I'm sticking with it. Of course, it just might be I couldn't resist the combination of the old Hesse-Kassel hussar uniform colour married with Austrian kit. Will be a nice addition to an 1809 Austrian corps.
