report after 10+ hours of play

So far played 3 games - 1st one went 298 turns before losing, 2nd game was 3 plays long LOL! and 3rd one was about 50 before losing. Anyway here's what I see as the good, bad and ugly:

Good - still great graphics! Also, LOVE the random tech tree for each start up game. Don't know if this was on purpose but it makes you pay attention instead of a rote tech pick.

Bad - Do NOT like the fact that another player can build inside your outlined territory after you forge an alliance!!! No option to ask for their removal without declaring war. Also would like to be able to assign an amount for a gift and NOT have an amount chosen for me. I would like to have gifted some colonies but the standard amounts were nuts so I didn't give anything. Also the same attack value for some weapons (i.e. Hellfire and G7 Volcano), am I missing something? Need to be able to move building work orders up and down for priority, as it stands now you have to delete the choice above if you want to re-order the colony builds

UGLY - What is with the extremely unbalanced Vermillian faction?!!!!! How do they build their units so fast? The game was only about 50 turns and I felt like the Marines in Korea being overwhelmed by the Chinese hordes! I had better tech and would kill3/4 armies at a time but another 6 were right behind them and wore my armies out.

Will be spending the weekend with the game. Overall I really do LIKE the game, however I'm glad release date is TBD.

two more items - aircraft should have higher movement than the ground troops otherwise they are not that much different. Units NEED automated explore option!

What difficulty are you playing on?

The diplomacy is lacking. Trading resources, tech, colonies, credits ect. would be a good addition.

G7 Volcano is the upgraded version of the Hellfire. G7 gives +75% power as well (and 75% additional cost).

I haven't had any problems with Vermillion yet. I've only played as Torga, Noxian and Dynasty-guys, and judging by my first couple of games Dynasty seems to be really strong (like Hive in SMAC but without the severe economical disadvantage). I won a turn ~170 economical victory with Dynasty on medium difficulty (83% of the way to a military victory as well).
