Scourge of War - Anniversary Edition Windows 10

After upgrading to Windows 10 the game seems like it's gone back to the demo mode. Do I have to re-install the game again?

I just started playing again & had the same problem. A reinstall fixed it again but now I''m getting CTD virtual every game I play. The only way around this so far is to auto save every minute then load the saved game, not perfect but it's the only way I can play. Any help would be appreciated.

I've selected "Windows 7 Compatibility mode & run this program as an administrator" in SOWGB.exe Propertie

need a copy of the full DXR log tbh as it seems your running the game on a none default setting of more than 100% with a hybrid setup, so guessing a laptop with onboard vga and a card used, a common problem is the game not knowing which one to use, so error's, but will know more with the full report tbh or i'd be just guessing

User DPI Setting: 120 DPI (125 percent)
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)

most games don't like or support none default DPI, try changing to 100% and see if it works any better

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 seems fine,

Event Name: APPCRASH, there's a few of them, here's my suggestions

add the exe of the game to your Anti Virus and firewall program, to make sure check the logs of these to see if it was one if any of them was to blame.

That usually means a 3rd party program, like an Internet security programs, is or could be interfering with the game or update installation.

run the game from a admin account and use full admin permissions.

please make sure all game pre requisite are installed with the game, even if you think or fully know there are already installed, it will only over write, and it may be that you have a older or newer version of these where as the game in question may need a certain version.

please make sure you are running the latest game version and have up to date drivers installed on your pc,

If you have the original version. So you'll need to update it from the Internet.
Please note that you'll only need the last update, as the updates are comprehensive. (not needed with steam)

edited i've not got around to testing this game as of yet of windows 10, but here's my advice on another game which may help with the install on windows 10

Well I've tried everything but it still crashes every game. Then I tried playing without any mods & bingo no crashes. Then I tried another game with the Bugles & Flags XV mod & it crashed. So for some reason I can't play the game with mods which is a shame as there are so many good mods out there. I'll try some other mods now & see what happens.

Just tried it with the smoke mod only & had no problems so it must be the Bugles & Flags XV mod.
