Latest Version! Early Access Update 0.1.6

We are happy to announce the latest update to the BA2 Early Access Programme, version 0.1.6. Please download and install the update file from below. You do not need to uninstall your current version first.

As always, please give us as much feedback as you can. We read it all and use it to make a great game even better!

Change Log
- revisions to many scenarios (it may not be possible to resume some scenarios from saved games created in previous versions)
- added scenario briefings (in progress)
- UI improvements
- fighters can intercept high altitude bombing raids
- fixed inconsistencies when ambushing empty tiles
- balanced unit costs
- revised air strike stats
- improved editing of outgoing chat messages
- fixed issue with coop player being able to sell partner's units in force selection
- allow campaign selection when creation a coop skirmish
- allow custom force sizes in coop skirmishes, increased default force points advantage for attackers in skirmishes
- retiring support for multiplayer skirmishes started in v0.1.1

Pip,

In the BA2 campaign Third Battle of Kharkov, for the River Crossing scenario, I thougtht that there must be carryover units from previous within that campaign as the force structure changes each time i get to that and wondered how can we tell if units are in carryover in the previous scenarios?

There isn't currently any way to tell which units in a mission will or could carry over, I don't think. I will take a look to see if it makes sense to do so.

Pip,

Just a thought but I think that the SAVING PRIVATE BRIAN campaign mod by rf900, had used some type of carryover identification.

Oh, it's definitely possible to do (carryover is denoted by a script-accessible attrib) but it's more where/how to show it.
