Usermade campaigns

Post by Micha63 »

Hello,
if everyone is agree we could use this topic for a place to host our usermade campaigns.
Here is my first try :

http://www.peoplesgeneral.de/Downloads/ ... mpaign.zip

Put this files into your Game mainfolder. Its only a "1 scenario campaign "

Hello.
We are glad that you use our campaign editor.

Thanks Micha. I've played the first scenario of yours and enjoyed it. Hopefully in future I can reply in kind with my own user made campaign.

Enjoying the game, finding the gameplay captivating, despite the functional only graphics. I'm also finding the scenarios well-balanced so far, in that it takes me 2-3 attempts to complete a scenario before I can win with-out any of my party dying. So there's quite a bit of re-playability.

Hi Messina,
glad you like the scenario, to play yours in the future would be great.
I"m doing for years scenarios for the old Game "Peoples General " .
After all this years drumms of war is the first game i like so much that i wanted to make scenarios for it.
This game is great , good old strat, exactly the fantasy game i was surching for.
Fantasy commander is also good but unfortunately it has no editor.

I must confess the campaigns of drumms of war are unwinnable for me, after 3 , 4 scenarios i have no more chance to continue.
Every helpful tip is wellcome.

Thank you.

If the game seems too difficult - you can always change the level of difficulty in the settings. Just change your (and enemy) chance to hit.

Shame on me, i play already by the lowest difficulty level.
But no problem, every stratgame has its problems, i only have to find the rigth strategy.
Keep up the good work.

I.e. +20% chance to hit their units and -20% chance to hit enemy units?

Read to manual about game mechanic.

Try the turtle strategy. Find a corner of the map, put your fighters in front in a solid line, put your archers and spell casters behind, buy lots of healing potions before each scenario and heal like crazy, eventually the enemy forces will dwindle. I find chasing after enemy archers and spell-casters early on in each scenario to be dangerous as your men will get swarmed. You've got to bide your time. I only play on Normal level, with Kill mode on.
