Division B result
rexhurley (Ancient British) 18/38 bt Oskar (Principate Romans early) 35/35 in a one sided swarm attack the Romans were mobbed surrounded and slaughtered. I was surprised that Oskar tried to keep coming though and that he used Pike Allies instead of Heavy Cav but each to their own.
Thanks for the game Oskar and apologies for the one sidedness of it. Regards Rex
rexhurley (Ancient British) 36/43 bt otbc (Picts) 46/45 in a Houdini effort to come back from the 20+bp down at mid point however once I was able to fully engage the fragility of the picts appeared. A shame for OTBC as he played well but I'll take it
Thanks for the game regards Rex

Epicouros (later Macedonian) 29/30 very narrowly beat cromlechi (Seleucid Successor) 40/39.
A Pyrrhic victory: I thought I had the game in the bag when my pike center broke his, but the Seleucids came back extremely well in the last few turns, aided by some good rallying. The result was mutual slaughter and a Macedonian victory by a hairbreath. Could have gone either way.

In a particularly interesting game
otbc's Successors 39/34 drew with Yuknoom's Spartans 37/36
The Spartans seemed poised to eke out a razor thin victory when Leonidas led his disrupted armoured spearmen into disrupted average pike. He routed on contact. If anyone has a spare shield, he needs a new one. (Don't go tell the Spartans.)
Thanks for a good one.

IMC (Persians) beat lecrop (Thracians): 24/37 v 54/50
The Thracians looked very scary early on and were massed table edge to table edge. They almost swamped the Persians except for the cavalry who, after gaining ground on the flank, started to eat their way across the table and through the medium foot. Thrace did however storm the Persian camp and took home some loot!
Great fun. Thank you Andreu.
