You do also get a partial refund on repairs to Auxiliaries, but I'd have to go to the manual to remember how much :$
Half.

- Where can I read the value for the viewing area of the units? I know that each type of terrain requires a certain number of viewpoints. But where do I read the units' viewing area points?

These are the Spectacles stat, you can see them on the Unit Navigator, but it's generally 2 except for recons

Okay, but in the Unit Navigator has each (german) land unit 4 spotting points?

Look here for example german tanks: http://mfendek.byethost16.com/?i=1

The Icon with glasses and #4

Or am I misinterpreting something ?!

Heh, that's me mis-remembering :)

Those 4 Spotting points will generally work out to two land tiles or 4 water tiles.

The data is in \Order of Battle - WW2_Data\Content\Data\terrain.csv

In general: Water is one point, open terrain & towns 2, Hills & Cities 3, Mountains Forests Jungles 5.
