No accusation without a proof, right?
Here you go: a simple map where the AI has Local Defense, range 6 as behavior. Sit still and nothing will happen. Move to the side and see for yourself. As long as the AI hasn't a totally idle or similar behavior set, it will move to victory thanks to omniscience!
What do you think about that? Cheat or not?

Maybe it is better. I think if AI had attacked with all units at once, none of us would have had a chance.

Modlin scn completed.
Unfortunately didn't manage to destroy 1 fort.

Warsaw captured and Fall Weiss operation completed.
Excellent work and very demanding challange for me.

The next should be "what if" scn Brest, and it's a problem for me... :?
It seems to me that a better solution would be to give the player the same choice as in PzC. I always skip it.
Don't like the MP mode and just hate the "what if" scenarios, otherwise this fictitious scn would cause a real losses of people and equipment.
I'd rather have a choice.

Denmark.

I was surprised by a huge map, don't you think Erik that if you make maps based on Pzc (where they are rather small), it will be some dissonance?

I noticed an error in the Objectives Panel, or maybe that should be? (print screen)
I am very curious about this scn. :D

I like large maps with room for maneuvers...

But maybe I should split the Denmark scenario in two selectable, Jylland and Sjælland.

The supply connection has been set to 'open' instead of 'failed'.

I am enjoying this campaign very much but I am stuck on Piatek, I have restarted the scenario many times.
I get overwhelmed after turn twelve, by the number of tanks on the far right hand side, with a swarm of cavalry behind them, at the same time as tanks and infantry on the far left. Even though I know what's going to happen I cannot prevent them breaking through and my defence collapses. I am on middle difficulty level.

Not a criticism, I have got so much replay value out of it, I just wonder how people can win? I had the same experience on the Kokoda trail getting my butt kicked at Isurava, and wanted to bully the Poles for kicks, but it's not turning out to be easy.

Hi

I love the campain although it is tough. But I cannot spend spec. points because there is some problem with the spec. points screen? How to resolve this?

I gave the Germans the early specs at campaign start. And there are no new specs until sometime in 1940. That is why your spec screen probably looks something like this.
I think I'll change this for the next version, starting the Germans with no specs. But it will have to wait until game version 4.x is out.

(Make sure you are playing the latest 4.3 version; https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/168 ... 40_4.3.zip)

I have done most of the work on a naval campaign. Sorry, can't provide any details yet.

Hi Erik,
I am studying the conditions of victory. I noticed that in the scenario Poznan,it is impossible to have a defeat. I have to play the first scenario ( Poznan) by making by letting nothing and the opponent play. The opponent even captured a primary objective that belonged to me. The result was surprising: DRAW. Normally, I should have had a Defeat.

In some official scenarios, there is a condition of victory for the opponent (often hold a primary objective).
Here is an example of an official scenario (Artic Fox), Russian(opponent) primary objective :

Aha, so the AI needs (at least) one primary objective to enable a human defeat.
I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
I'll put this on my to-do list, but adding an extra primary objective to 70+ scenarios will take some time.

I find many of the later maps very unbalanced . To many enemy units.

The number and composition of enemy units is as close as possible to the original PzC scenarios as possible.

I initially give the AI resource income comparable to what the player gets. The official OOB campaigns tend to starve the AI.
So this is one thing that may make my scenarios more difficult.

How does one create the supply connection in the Denmark scenario? I have taken every city between the two cities on the Danish peninsula. But still it shows a question mark. The "X" went away, and it was replaced with a "?" once I took the last city. But it never showed as satisfied. How do I satisfy that objective?

In the Norway scenario, I don't see any objectives in the Sola scenario. There are not primary, nor any secondary objectives. So I am not sure what I am supposed to do in the scenario.

Denmark:
The 'Open' event is displayed with the '?'.
I used this rather than the check-mark because the supply may be cut after you've opened it.
The check-mark is permanent as far as I know. So the objective would stay checked even after the Danes cut supply.

Norway:
A couple of future scenario options was left in by mistake.
Sola-Kristiansand is far from finished and Oslo will crash the game due to the large map.

Thanks, Erik. I am trying to figure out why I got a Draw when I completed all primary and secondary objectives in Norway. The supply connection was a "?" mark, so I assumed that was the cause. Thanks for the info on sola and Oslo. Do the other Norway scenarios work?

Do carry over from 39/40 to 41/42 work again?
