It should detect the system you have and install accordingly.

Hi,

Please ensure that you unzip the files before running them. Trying to run an exe from within a zip almost always causes knock on issues

Thanks

Hi,

When you unzip them, only one file can be actually run as the installer (the one with .exe at the end). It will then automatically use the other file (with .2) as the "second disk" for the additional content

I have a Mac. Sandstorm needs me to update the base game in order to install Sandstorm. The base game uses the suffix "WW2." The base game UPDATE uses "WWII." Does that matter? In any case:

I have tried each of the below three links individually and in collective succession from top to bottom. All efforts failed to support successful install of Sandstorm.

At one point the Sandstorm asks me what application I want to install (with Crossover, I think) - and Order of Battle isn't available/ in the list. Dead end.

When I do install Sandstorm (via Crossover) as an "unidentified" application - which is the only way to install - it tells me that Order of Battle is not found on my computer (but I can run the game and all modules just fine.

More dead ends from Slitherine. Could you make it any more ambiguous? FFS.

If you have a Mac, why not use the Mac version rather than the windows with crossover?

The Mac links do not include a dmg file. They just have an exe file which can't be used on a Mac and a text file that says you need to download the dmg. Any Mac user out there who've solved this?

Download and unzip the file from the mirrors and you'll get a dmg file.

Can you open a new thread in the tech support section describing your specific issue?
Thank you.

For what it’s worth, the download worked properly when I switched from Chrome to Safari.

SOLUTION:

1. BUY THE BASE GAME AGAIN. Make sure it is " WW II " ( Not "WW 2" )
2. INSTALL IT. ( Keeping - not replacing - the old version on your computer)
3. SANDSTORM WORKS.
