You're welcome. I think that "skinning" became a very nice, and important, feature of the game. Lately, I began to use skins more and more as more and more units began to support them. :)
And I like the "colored" camos much more than just some stripes or dots or such... This thread has a nice variety and I appreciate any new addition to it. 8)
Thanks again

I did more various camouflages in the era of -Krieg DLCs, because the German camouflages were much more varied. Now I try to do simple skins but good quality.

I dream that the Devs will unlock camouflages for planes one day.
I would do something like this then.

Hello Kondi.
Your skins are very beautiful, like always. You and Terminator are better than me. For a long time, I don't go back in this toipic and no create skins. I return in Panzer Corps 1 for gaming and searching german and russian order of battle : Fall Blau, Stalingrad, ...
Great job.
Greetings from France.

kondi754 wrote: Tue Oct 06, 2020 6:43 pm I think there must be some 'quality controller' for Community Crate so if he calls me back and says "Listen man, your skins are great, we'd like to have them here" that's ok, I'll immediately put together some skin packs for the most important factions in game (even create some new ones, exclusively  ) and submit it for publication in the game.

But one thing is for sure, I won't be asking for it.
You didn't have to ask for it - I did. I like your (and Mr. T's) skins and I think it would benefit the whole game if they would be way more easily accessible than browsing through a 19-pages long thread...

You can find Shard's answer here:

"Sure, just put together a zip with what you want submitted and I'll line it up".

Probably best to contact him per PM, Kondi.
I'd really like to see your skins in "The Crate" soon. :D

That's more a re-texture job than "skin". And you can do that already, see the SpanishCivilWar mod.

I've noticed that Stuart models need the last skin reworked
MY RECOMMENDATION: M2 Light Tank, M3, M3 Satan, M3A1, M5 (vehicle model needs to be fixed  ), M5A1 and M8 75mm HMC

I think this additional skin only for Stuarts is very important in US Pacific or Marine Corps DLCs for historical playthrough, Stuarts ruled in PTO :!:
It seems that you have changed the maximum (or minimum) zoom values, what are these values?
Yes, I changed to max zoom, made print-screen and cut it in Paint (Win10) so that it was less than 1 Mg but the quality was maintained.
I'm not able to give you values, next time I will write it down and put here.
I would post screenshots showing the camouflages in the game (medium-minimum zoom) but they have terribly large size if you want to keep the original quality.
Maybe Slitherine increases my attachment limit to 3 Mb  8)

EDIT. Sorry Mr.T :) I misunderstood you, I didn't change the "factory" zoom settings in the game.
I just max zoomed in with the mouse wheel and made a print-screen
All my screenshots are taken with a max zoom but I don’t have 4K (my screen resolution=1920 x 1080). I can’t zoom in as close as you (?)

Probably.
I don't have a problem with the quality but with the size of the screenshots, especially when I want to show how the units look in the game at medium or minimum zoom.
When I reduce the size of the photo, the quality drops significantly

RE: Community Crate

Unfortunately, I will not make it until Sunday, I decided not to use the old camos, but to make completely new ones.

Well, I want to make a pack containing 10 new skins. 8 below I chose myself.

Ariete Div Libya 41-42
British Burma Road 43-45
Chinese Corps in Burma 44-45
Finnish Continuation War 41-44
Italians in Tunisia 43
Japanese in Malaya 41-42
Viking SS-PzDiv in Poland 44
Wacht am Rhein 44-45

Please select the last 2 from the list below

British Exp Force 40
Grossdeutschland 44
Overlord
Red Army 42-43
Red Army 44-45
Japanese tanks 37-40
Japanese tanks 41-45
Rommel in Normandy
Balaton Offensive 45 (for Waffen SS only)
Yankees in Sicily 43
US Korean War 50-53

Are you seriously asking us right now to choose from skins we've never seen???

Anyhow, I think that the Japs could use more skins definitely.
And the British, but I don't know how many Brit units actually support skins...

I'm prepared (textures and historical sources) to create all these skins
Of course, if some faction is not yet prepared for camouflages, it drops off the list.
In my survey, my aim is to indicate which skins are missing for modders and community scenario/campaign creators

BTW, after reflection, I add US Korean War camo to the list  :?:

I would choose these:
-Red Army 42-43
-Red Army 44-45
For two reasons, the first is that these skins would be immediately usable in the latest DLC and the second is that it seems not very obvious to find examples of camouflage for Russian vehicles.

Burma Road camos removed from list as skins do not work for Britain and China(all) factions
Red army and more Japan added to pack

Are those completely new/reworked skins or the same ones that are in this thread?

While playing Red Star, I was surprised how well the skin support is now, even for towed guns. On a winter map, you actually have difficulty to find your own units with a white camo.
