Excellent.
Looks like custom mods are working again. Ar least I was able to start the 'Finland in World War 2' mod.

The assignment of the Specialisation 'Specialized Training' to factions in existing (custom) scenarios has been removed.
Intended?

The best thing is that Sandstorm probably hasn't been modified because I don't even have to start the tests again, I've loaded the savegame during Alam Halfa scn and everything works fine. 8)
Although there are a lot of changes in the unit.csv file, they refer rather to German GC.

Thanks. A nice changelog. That's the way to go! :D

BTW, I've experienced the same "black screen" issue with the Steam version update as some others have with the previous version's update. Only a clean reinstall will resolve this. No biggie, just a minor nuisance.

Correct me if I am wrong but if you load a savegame the changes won't be in affect. You need to start from a campaign save or fresh. (Atleast I think I read it somewhere on the forum)

With changes in the scenario files, yes, with changes in the units files, no.

I lose you win Gabe :-D. But....now when I have your attention, I think the devs has given Waffen SS access to Wermacht Specialisations. Is that possible to check?

I've got to run now, but I'll check the updated files later today (I'll have to anyway, because of my mod).
But if you want to try it yourself in the meantime, I guess this should be quite obvious with specs like "Panzerkeil", "PAKfront" or "UHU Vampir-whatever". You should see a "blue cross" (supporting unit) right away if that's true - I hope not.

Well my imported core with Waffen SS has 28!CP's in Endsieg. Thats probably from doubling the ss specs and putting in war economy and female factory labor x 1= 28

There wasn't added Waffen SS faction to the specializations.csv file in 7.1.6. version
