Well, what about adding another final scenario after the FALAISE? :D

I think to a PADDLE-scenario, which would then be historically perfect as well!

The PADDLE operation (launched on the 17th August 1944) has involved the British and the Canadians, including their 6th Airborne Division and some commandos again (namely at least the 1st and 4th Special Services Brigades as well as the 41st Royal Marines Commando - those having thus been used from time to time after the direct landings  ). And even the "famous" Belgian brigade commanded by Lt. Col. Jean Piron (namely the 1st Belgian Independent Brigade) and the Dutch royal brigade “Irene” commanded by Lt. Col. Ruyter von Steveninck (namely the Princess Irene Brigade, a motorized infantry unit). 8)

If I’m not mistaken, Piron’s men have landed at Gold Beach and the Dutch P.I.B. at Juno Beach... :D
-> Thus those two could already be added as well (probably as non-core units free to deploy) in the Gold and Juno scenarios.

Units like the British 6th Airborne Division should not be overlooked, because the Allied HQ even planed once to take over the entire city of Caen only with airborne troops! :D

About this PADDLE operation, I'm not going to spoil everything  , but one can already find more infos there: https://www.dday-overlord.com/en/battle ... ons/paddle

And furthermore, from a RPG point of view, this would somehow "complete the whole circle" because the first guys to land should have been the commandos in our Gold/Juno/Sword scenarios and some of those commandos could then reappear at least in the last one!

I think ColonelY has a point, if I may, it would be a very nice ending for this awesome campaign. But first I believe that some adjustments must be made to the already almost complete work for the previous scenarios, as indicated by some of us before and especially by Dwightd in his last post. Like him, I had the same impression. Since the authors are already working on version 1.6, we better wait and try the new edition.

Just opening this thread up briefly to ask, has anybody gotten up to the ultimate scenario, Falaise? I would be interested in your opinions on the gameplay balance in that one. Please post comments to our studio thread. Thanks.
