No way to speed up animations?

Magnifico - Da Vinci’s Art of War is a game of conquest set in the Renaissance period. Wage war and conquer Europe with the help of Leonardo's ingenious war machines.

No way to speed up animations?

Post by Galdred »

The game is enjoyable so far (although I wish there was a multiplayer mode), but the slow animations are a strong deterrent at the moment:
There are so many actions that trigger an animation, and the animations are so slow overall, that the downtime ends up being quite high, which is a shame for an electronic board game (I mean, it's the main reason to play on an iPad instead of on a table, after all).

Would it be possible to add an option to skip some animations, or speed them up? That would make the game much more enjoyable.

You can speed them up in options?

Indeed, unchecking "effets" (in French) did speed some of them.
Some still remain but it is much more bearable. I thought it was for the sound effects when I saw the option :o

It is animation so sounds like a less than perfect translation.
