Flying units need pass thru terrain and over friendlies

Post by VR_Nocturne »

Flying units not ignoring terrain like trees and houses seems silly. A pegasus can't fly over trees or a house?

Some units need to be actual fliers and be able to pass over any terrain tile that's actually passable at all. I can see them not just scaling a height of like 4 or terrain that is impassable to all units, but things like trees and houses? Fliers need to at least be able to pass through them, even if they aren't allowed to land on them (i.e. end a turn there or attack from there). Same for going over friendly units.

At least some of them - like Griffons, Pegasus, Valkyries, Gloom Imps. Fat Pyro Imps probably couldn't do it (wings too tiny).

Simply edit the "Terrain" file Flight APs in the data folder. It appears the minimum for an AP cost is 2 to prevent an error. Certainly better then 4. Also, If that is not enough, one can add some AP pts to a specific unit.
