Insufficient disk space error

I bought the game as part of the Slitherine Humble Bundle and all the other games in the bundle installed except for Hell.
When I try to install it I get a disk write error saying there is insufficent disk space. But my PC has plenty of space on the hard drive.
The installation begins, and when I go to "manage downloads" it says "Update Required" When I click on the arrow to download the update it begins to install an then hangs after loading 21.2 MP of the 329.5 MB update.
Any advice?
