sorry about this, game does work and fully support windows 10, so lets take a look and see if anything standard pops up, which may point to something ease to fix or alter

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

sorry about this issue and welcome to the board and forum

just notes,

Sound Tab 2: The file xspltspk.sys is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950
Dedicated Memory: 2017 MB
Driver Date/Size: 21/08/2017

Realtek High Definition Audio
18/08/2015 (too old and not signed)
realtec.jpg
realtec.jpg (171.62 KiB) Viewed 5233 times
XSplit Stream Audio Renderer
Date and Size: 26/06/2014 (too old and not signed)

one game error, nothing mentioned or reasons,...

update drivers for old out of date drivers and re
check the game to see if it has cured the problems,.

if not disable XSplit, as this maybe causing the issue, with out of date drivers and conflicts,

edit what runs as start up on the pc, either manually with a program, i use ccleaner to do it, but you can do it from within windows,

Code: Select all

https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/windows/change-windows-10-startup-programs-3615075/

just have your AV and steam let say loaded and recheck for game errors etc and on clean boot, checks for more up to date and signed driver for the sound card etc

Yes, it's enabled

I uninstalled the game again and now I'm trying to downolad directly on "my product page" in the slitherine website.

I'll let you know if it'll work

ok i'm going to have to pass you over to staff support, as tbh, if your anti virus logs and all others stuff has been done, it should have worked, so seems something else is wrong so i suggest you open a support ticket and then they will try and sort it out for you, sorry i couldn't do it

I've heard back from the developer, and he's advised that this is more likely to be caused by the resolution settings. So can you go to the Documents folder for the game (Default: C:\Users\Your Username\Documents\My Games\BA2) then open the file called OPTIONS.TXT.

The 3rd and 4th lines in this file are RezX XXXX and RezY XXXX, so can you ensure these match your desktop resolution, e.g. I'm running at 1080p, so mine are RezX 1920 and RezY 1080

Kirsova211 wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 10:03 am Odd game crashes for me when trying to load it, specs arent a issue, it just doesnt want to load, and judging by the discussions seems to be a lot of issues people are having.
Have you tried the OPTIONS.TXT changes detailed in the post above yours, or deleting the options file and trying to run the game again? If so and you are still having issues then please C+P the contents of both the error.log and OPTIONS.TXT files.

Cheers
