I am the scoundrel who placed the trench in the woods, though only after having been victimized by it in a previous game. :-) My ASL upbringing suggests trenches/sandbagged positions should only block wheeled and that for tracked they would act akin to wire, ie a full turn of movement expended to traverse + possibility of bogging. Roadblocks and AT ditches seem like the only (non-building) fortifications that should be able to completely block tracked. In a perfect world where Enric has nothing better to do than develop fortifications we would have:
--wire
--mines
--booby traps
--pillboxes
--trenches
--foxholes
--field fortifications (sandbagged foxholes)
--fortified buildings
--roadblocks
--AT ditches

Added PANIC

Panic:
A unit with morale below zero is in Panic.
Panicked units try to go to covert, when in covert they could not move at all except if an enemy is adjacent.

Pavlov's house

This was a Squad Leader tournament scenario.

The Pavlov's house is a fortified suite of buildings.
All Soviet units are fanatic, so they rally a 15% quicker.

Hi,
played a couple of rounds of the current version of rostov. I think, it is the most balanced version so far, but the axis have still an advantage. 5 more mines might do the trick

Thank you Jeggs, I'm working in the next version where the Soviets will have 5 bobby traps more and maybe 2 LMGs more.

That new version:
  • Better panic behavior.
    Panicked units may move if…
    - they move to a tile with the same o higher coverflag. (from building to building, wood, bunker, etc., but no to open for example)
    - they don't move adjacent to enemy
    The purpose of this mod if to avoid the voluntary suicide of some units to spot the enemy or make them spend the last bulled.
  • Merge units
    This was a mod that someone started in BA1, Based on this idea:
    Units of same type may merge if…
    - total men will not be more that original men in unit
    - morale of resulting units is calculated as the average of the morale of the two units (#A_men x A_morale * #B_men x B_morale) divided by the resulting number of men.
    The resulting (merged) unit level will be the level of the unit that contributed with more men.
  • Added 2 LMG's to the Russian
  • Added 5 more Bobby traps

Really like panic and combine options in a6...should be part of all scenarios! :-)

They will be, but not on the already posted as official download scenarios.

fixed Map issue
MGs: PARA MG changed to normal german_mg34
Halftrack: Halftracks in original set up are unarmed: created a new unit sdkfz251_NW (no weapons)
88mmAA usually were in a truck not in a halftrack
DEPLOY: minor changes
Victory: Fixed wrong message
Reinforcement: Text message fixed

Hi Enric, very very good battle!
I play solo : So I moved the Balta in Campaign from MP. Ok.
I don't remember more how, but I can play German first ( tries and tries and tries, a mind war...continuos headache)
All run ok but My German forces has the Russian icons...(flags )
Anyone can Help Me about this mod ?...be good .. is Xmas..... :roll: :roll:

It's always possible to play SP the MP scenarios but without any guaranty.
I do not know what has you changed so, the best is to delete the modified Balta and get a clean copy of the original MP Balta again.

Ok, Solved.
(all in attach)
1) I change some parameters in balta.bsf
2) Solved even the icon flag of units. Now only on the first screen appear s soviet soldier for the deploy units.

Maybe Enric (as many other people here - including me -) is not writing here always like Shakespeare did, BUT sure:
a) He can manage to be understood, that's the main purpose of this, don't forget it.

I'm from England and I can follow it clear enough ! It's certainly better than any attempt of mine to speak Spanish German or French let alone even beginning to right in another language
