Max LOS

Is there a maximum range a unit can see (barring any blocking terrain)? If so can it be modded? If not, is there a way to set a limit on the distance a unit can see? I should say I want to change the max LOS for every unit, not just one type.

It is currently set at 20 squares.

This is controlled by the "LOS" column in the Squads file, where the value 200 = 20 squares.

We do not recommend that you alter your main build. However, the Editor will allow you to make a clone of a campaign. You will then find the clone in \My Documents\My Games\Campaigns\CampaignName

Put a copy of the Squads.csv file (which you will find in the main build in \Data) in the above folder. (NOT in a sub-folder). Then edit the LOS column.

thanks Richard. Is it possible to tie the max LOS to the turn number? So after turn 1 the max LOS is 19, after turn 2 it is 18 etc?
