Game autoscrolls on it´s own
Game autoscrolls on it´s own
Greetings,
I have the issue that the game (map) autoscrolls on it´s own to the top of the screen. If I use the down arrow, I get the map to scroll down but as soon as I let go of the down key, it scrolls up the map again. Game is unplayable with this issue. The screen also stuters a bit with this isuue. I do have various inputs on my PC, Thrustmasters Warthog Flight Stick, CH flight pedals, Logitech G13, TrackIR, Saitek throttle, Logitech Gamepad F310, Wabcom Intuos 4 Tab.
Steam version. On Windows 10 x64.
Can we please get a fix for this?
Thank you!

Red I play this one a lot and never saw this happen...Looking at your hardware might be something happening with them...I've found problems occasionally andone of my hardware items was sending a signal when I wasn't using it or a key was mapped and sending an input

Yeah I can see that. There are two inputs (CH flight pedals and Logitech F310) that effect the games scrolling. The thing is that I play other Wargames with the same top-down concept which this dosent happen, so it´s this game that´s picking up the mapping, as others don´t have this issue.
Re: Game autoscrolls on it´s own
I have not seen any autoscrolling on the regular PC version.
I am still seeing some unnecessary map shifts in the latest v1.4 update, like when selecting some units on the map causes the map to shift to the Corps entry hex. It's a little annoying.

Hi, Red2112, yes, this behaviour happens when you have other periferals plugged like joystick/gamepad in the pc. For the moment you could try plugging them out and it should work fine.
There will be a fix for this, but it will be a few weeks before the next patch.

Ok thank you, I´ll wait for the patch then.

Patch in the horizon?
Re: Game autoscrolls on it´s own
I had the same issue with another game and this is what I came to figure out...
I think for some reason both games have issues with controls with "Z-Axis", as SDRobot (user) has had the same issue I have when using his throttle (Z-Axis), and my CH Pro Pedals also uses a Z-Axis for toe-breaks/centering. I can´t say about my TM Warthog Throttle as it´s NOT connected, Iam getting a new one sent in next week, but I Imagen the same issue would happen as throttles use the Z-Axis as there main input. Flight Sticks and Joypads use the "X and Y Axis", which don´t seem to cause any effect on the games in this case.
Unplugging the CH Products Rudder Pedals did the trick! (Z-Axis)
Hope it helps.
