I am running Windows10, thus far without any problems and have the latest OoB patches etc.
I do use the 'cheat modes' and have recently experienced total PC shutdown (no other programs running). For example I move one unit and the PC/laptop shuts down - it tends to only happen when I move a unit.
I have deleted all save games and restarted across all Pacific campaigns but problem persists.

Re: Unit limit? CP limits?
I have seen this also except my laptop doesn't shut down but the game exits to the desktop start up. Totally random as to when it happens but it is when a unit is moved.
Re: Unit limit? CP limits? Total game collapse
So far evidence suggests that it only happens where the map is predominately land - where the map is predominately sea does not seem to happen. But early days ......

Ooops, spoke too soon.
Game and laptop crashed out during Port Moresby scenario.

Happened again re Solomons scenario.
Funny thing, the Laptop crashes, but requires 2 x restarts and then 50% of the time goes back to the ongoing Game.

Re: Total game/PC collapse
Having suffered innumerable Laptop collapses/shut down epiosoders, I have stopped playing - refund please.
Re: Total game/PC collapse
You need to help the devs and tech support solving your problem by being a bit more specific.

Read the post, supply the files in a zip, wait.
I kind of had the same problem with the original OoB. Switching to a 64bit Windows, which allowed 8gigs of RAM, solved it.
This game is greedy AF.

Re: Total game/PC collapse
Also, a laptop with built-in graphics is not the best way to play OOB.
I started with one during the initial beta, but ended up buying a desktop with a dedicated 3D card. Not an option for everyone, I know.
As Andy says, the game is greedy and really needs a lot of resources to play well.
I have not had any technical problems running the game after I switched.
Zipped save-games and output.log will help the devs.
