Good ideas there, Kondi. And I agree in Burma Road being a mess. As it is now, it is probably the easiest DLC.

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.6
There's actually the "exclude units" option in the campaign editor, and it worked, ASAIK. Although it could be circumvented by a savegame load. But maybe that was fixed with v716?
Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.6
I don't think so, it was one of the reasons why I make separate Mods for all DLCs (but not only)GabeKnight wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 12:14 pm There's actually the "exclude units" option in the campaign editor, and it worked, ASAIK. @CoolDTA
Burma Road in not the easiest DLC. Like the Arakan 1943 scenario is virtually impossible to finish (Akyab!!! ) on the General difficulty.

Well, imo it is the easiest one, but these being subjective evaluations, which of the 11 DLCs do you find to be the easiest?shiroronin wrote: ↑Wed Feb 27, 2019 10:34 am Burma Road in not the easiest DLC. Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.6
Kriegsmarine (the easiest) and Blitzkrieg. All on the highiest diff. On the lower diff there is no fun
Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.6
Blitzkrieg is one of the easiest for me, because I've played it the greatest number of times
But I think Sandstorm is objectively easiest, that's why I started my modifications from this DLC
Burma Road is quite demanding at 5th level, and I agree with Shiroronin - Arakan scn is almost impossible to accomplish completely (I mean to capture Akyab, of course) at the highest level

Alt-Tab out of the game and then back in. No need for reboot.bismark2010 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 27, 2019 4:07 pm I do not know if the problem I have is a result of version 7.1.6 Have not played order of battle for months. After installing version 7.1.6 I get the opening screen that shows option, exit and etc.Well I can not get down to the lower part of this screen to use these icons.I have to reboot my computer to get out of this screen the game is currently unplayable. What is the fix ?

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.6
I'm taking back my careless words about "Akyab the Neverconquered City" (at the General)
It's doable
Capturing Akyab requires clever use of the elite Paras (2) , SAS (1) and the 4-5 units of the elite Typhoons.

There is nothing to excite for me

It always has been doable. Even before the appearance of the overpowered new units. And without para drops, too.shiroronin wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2019 4:29 pm I'm taking back my careless words about "Akyab the Neverconquered City" (at the General)

You just have to advance carefully and take the bulk of your forces on the eastern-most road towards Akyab. But yeah, that objective's a tough one.

Did it again (Akyab) with the Paras , SAS , 2 Spits , 2 Wodden wonders and an Wellington.
I forgot to mention that I use Honeys only no medium/infantry tanks.
@GabeKnight
It seems true impossible without Paras and SAS Key points are scattered and the defence is...smart (mines, snipers, foxholes) and time-consuming.

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.6
I've struggled with this mission the first time playing at level5 difficulty as well. I've got some hints and a replay from "13obo" about a year ago, that helped:shiroronin wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 8:18 am It seems true impossible without Paras and SAS Key points are scattered and the defence is...smart (mines, snipers, foxholes) and time-consuming.

Maybe it'll get you some pointers to different tactics as well.

I finished the Burma Road at the General. Had fun and feeling of the "jungle warfare" different than the Marines DLC.
Seen no bugs and glitches. Definetly too many tanks for Japs. There will be better with more infantry there.
Thanks Devs

Personally, I like it. Why do you need those buttons twice?terminator wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 5:08 am RESTART and EXIT have disappeared from the OUTCOME EVENT :

It is not a bug but intentional and Gabe already gave the likely reason:terminator wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 5:08 am OUTCOME EVENT bug (?):
