An official wish-list for the editors would be nice. There should now be enough custom designers on board to fill it up.

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio
Hey Erik,
I played the New Britain campaign a while back and had a lot of fun with it. I decided to run through it again at level 4. I have version 3.1.
It is a little different than what I played, but I know you keep making them better
Does Aware really start out with 0 RP for all nations, and land, sea, and air CP that cannot be deployed due to no RP?
If it does, then I will play on !

@Bru (and Eric of course)
Maybe you should describe the history of the 10th Mountain Div of the US Army
Mini-campaign, 3-4 scenarios from Italian front 1945
You can use the fact that it cooperated with the 1st Brazilian Division during the breakthrough of the Gothic Line and in the Po Valley
There were many stars of winter sports in this division, e.g. US vice-champion in ski jumping Norwegian Torger Tokle and bronze medalist of the 1935 world championship in alpine skiing Austrian Friedl Pfeifer

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio
A campaign like this would really need official US mountain unit types IMO.

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio
A funny thing happened to me on the way to Lolobau Island ..............
New Britain 1943-45, Ver 3.1; level 4
So I rescued the POWs around turn 31, and the scenario drops Two DD's (one is the Maddox) and a POW transport in the bay. I moved them toward the southeast. In the meantime I have 6 transports on their way to Lolobau Island, sailed out of Gulagula.
On turn 33 start, I get the window about the Japanese barges. One of the DD's has disappeared along with the POW transport. My six transports around Lolobau have vanished also
They all appear in the reserve forces tab in transports, but of course cannot be deployed since there are no naval deployment hexes. Now I've got to go to the commanding officer and tell him I have lost 6 transports with troops
BTW, to casual readers. If you like the official Marine DLC, play this one from Erik and Bru. It is some of their best work IMHO

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio
Thanks for the report, Dwight.
This concerns one of Bru's additions to my firstoriginal campaign, but I'll see if I find anything iffy.

Gold Beach Victory Conditions
Erik, these questions are about the Victory Conditions for the Sword Beach scenario.
1. How do you hold/repair the airfield ? I had an engineer unit which changed to a bulldozer on the airfield hex but could only get one point instead of two.
2. How far inland must your units be, to "be off the beach"?
Excellent campaign. Best I have played!
Thanks for any help.
Michael

Re: Gold Beach Victory Conditions
1) There is no on-map airfield, at least I can't find any . There are no Construction Groups either. You need to use the air exit/deployment hexes on the top map edge. Not sure I know what the issue here is.mdavis41 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 1:51 am Erik, these questions are about the Victory Conditions for the Sword Beach scenario.

2) There are several objectives placed along the beach. Getting 'off the beach' means capturing these objectives. Click on the blue ? to see the map markers. Capturing all these objectives will enable a new primary objective.
Glad you like the campaign.
Re: BrucErik CSD Studio
Erik, I'm sorry, I meant Sword Beach, anyway the first scenario in the campaign. An objective is to establish an airfield at a specific site.
Re: BrucErik CSD Studio
I think you mean Gold.
The objective really tell it all:
You capture the location, move any units out of the location, the construction grp arrives, you click on the 'establish airstrip' mini icon.
Then wait 3-4 turns until the airstrip is built.
That's all.

AI Stopped Playing????
I'm playing Erik's [New Britain 1943-45] Campaign and in the Jacquinot Bay scenario the AI just stopped playing. I hit end turn and it just skips to my next turn. The AI does not move or attack it just blips to my next turn. This happened after I resumed a game from a save. I tried going back a few turns but the AI is still DOA.

thanks I was really enjoying this campaign until this.
