TBH, i'd like the management to take care of this. the lonely dev and the forum guard w/o a cause can't cut it anymore!
since having to download the latest patch with steam i won't play the stand alone version anymore.... please, if you like to say hello to your friends, check steamcharts:
I wish they would just be honest about it. A wall of silence isn't the greatest public relations exercise for Slitherine. The game has so much potential. It really feels like they just went half way with it. It feels like they keep half a game on extremely limited life support at the full $30 just to milk this cow as long as she will continue to bleed out. I am curious how long till the licence returns to DPG; or perhaps it has done so already?
Yes, of course the game is still supported! We are working on a new update with some fixes/improvements, and we have some other interesting things being worked on, that will be announced soon.
That nice to hear that there still a heart beat. I guess if you want answer steam is the place to take questions.
most has already been posted here tbh, with my reply and comments being my own and nothing offical either...
the update to the newer version of Unity Engine, which tbh makes multi threaded performance better has taken longer than planned, as it's a much bigger job and project than anyone could have known has been mentioned here and on the steam pages, anything else is just that, already been said etc
Yeah I had no idea they where upgrading to Unity. That's a very reasonable mention. I just thought they had moved on to other things because adding Commonwealth to Americans couldn't have taken all this time. But if they where swapping out engine parts that would make sense.
