Dismounted Men-at-Arms and retinue billmen

Post by Hobgoblin1977 »

i am wanting to build an army for war of the roses, and am a little confused about Dismounted Men-at-Arms and retinue billmen. are these to be based together in one battlegroup or do i base them as individual battlegroups?

Together - it is a description of the troops in the battle group.

Which is quite correct - but if you are using figures where you have a variety of styles - eg Peter Pig - you have the opportunity to base them separately if you so choose. So for example some could be Town & County Billmen - less armour, armoured billmen - retinue billmen - or heavily armoured dismounted knights.

Check out the PP website and hopefully you'll see what I mean.

yeah, i am using pendraken miniatures(i love 10mm and am doubling the troops up per base..8 heavy foot, 6 medium foot etc), but they have miniatures for dismounted men at arms, retinue billmen and county billmen. so i figure i will use the dismounted men at arms to represent 'heavy armoured' battlegroups and the retinue billmen to represent the 'armoured' battlegroups. if that makes sense.

thanks for the replies...:)
