ANA Unit Count

Post by Derezed » Tue May 16, 2017 8:59 am

Hi there, love the game.

I have looked through the forum for this but haven't found it.

Is it intentional that ANA Special Forces don't count towards the ANA Infantry count on the battlefield? I have been able to promote unlimited ANA Infantry to Special Forces and then re-recruit the infantry at FOBs. The Infantry count shows 19/15 if I have 4 SF and 15 ANA Infantry.

Yes, but we should actually put a cap on the ANA SF, you might want to play at a higher difficulty level...

:D Playing Vet level at the moment. I just noticed the higher count on the stats screen and felt like a cheat! Only beaten the first campaign mission so far...the game is pretty good at making me hate my enemy! If you were to introduce a cap, what would it be? I found myself wishing I hadn't promoted my SF since the vet ANA are pretty decent troops!

That sounds very reasonable to me.
