It takes a month to Beta test such a campaign.
To create takes much longer.
I may take a month of research [or more] to determine what scenarios to have, let alone create them.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

But I don't complain.
Me neither, i will wait for it. The quality is indeed real good, i enjoyed...better i enjoy both DLCs a lot. And it isnt a big issue to wait, i will tryout FG II meanwhile.

SCW Release 16 Jul AO39 27 Aug. So about 6 weeks between the release of both DLCs. So i was hoping for mid/end October for ao40 an mid Dec fpr ao41 (yes i maddicted...xD ). But ofc i understand what u mean. But i have a simple solution for that time-problem:
Let us clone Kerensky

I'm willing to bet part of the reason SCW and 1939 were able to be released so close together is that, since they were the first 2 DLC, the were probably being worked on concurrently, at least to some extent, so that they could be released close together. Partly since those were the 2 promised in some purchase packages, partly to get people interested in the Axis Operations now that they've likely beaten the base Campaign a couple times.

Now you might be asking why might they not be doing that with future DLC? Well. One thing Kerensky has mentioned doing multiple times is making sure to listen to player feedback in regards to the Axis Operations, to figure out which parts are enjoyed and which are not so he can take that into account for future DLC.
They probably didn't want to get too ahead of themselves with the later DLC till they had that kind of data, to prevent accidently incorporating things the players didn't like as much, which would then require either leaving it in and annoying the players or taking it out which wastes the time spent working on it.

Yes i know. As mentioned im not complaining ;) I was just hoping, before that stream announcement show. Im totally understanding the reasons (hope this english is correct) for the fast first 2 dlcs and that doing a dlc takes time.
meanwhile i will tryout fg 2 this weekend but my brave core troops are waiting for their call to duty :D

So then the largest tank battle would be Prokhorovka in result, because never before such a large number of tanks has been concentrated in such a small area, approx. 1200-1500 armored vehicles from both sides depending on the sources
Prokhorovka was discredited several times over after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1989.
Historians gained access to declassified documentation listing armored vehicles available/unavailable for operation during Kursk.
Several calculations were made, taking into account margins of error & conflicting or incomplete reports. Resulting in Prokhorovka numbers being revised from ~3000 down to ~650 at most.
Check Gantz et al.

Also re: Kursk.
The Soviets had no doubt a pincer was coming at Kursk due to the massive bulge in the line. Quite simply it was the most obvious place to attack. They just didn't know when.
British confirmed it later..

The smallest number of tanks I have encountered is over 850 vehicles. This was done by the German journalist Kellerhoff from 'Die Welt' in 2019 on the basis of German aerial recon photos and US archives after consulting with many specialists. They enumerated 672 Soviet tanks, the photos show T-34, T-70 and Churchill tanks (so there were no 'KV-1 family' tanks near Prokhorovka ). According to this study, there were also 186 German tanks.
Even more interesting is the expertise on the losses of both sides... Apparently, it results from photos and other sources that 235 Soviet tanks versus only 5 Waffen SS tanks were destroyed :?
BTW In response to the publication, Russian Culture Minister accused Kellerhoff of falsifying history.

It seems to me that when I wrote about 1,200-1,500 armored vehicles at Prokhorovka, I mean not only tanks, but also self-propelled artillery, self-propelled infantry and assault guns and tank destroyers from both sides

I now wish they'd post more screen shots in the meantime!
Trying to do this before end of October, stay tuned.
Trust me, I am not trying to be a pain Kerensky, but I am still very much looking forward to seeing additional screenshots of the upcoming DLC since there were only 4-5 provided so far.

So can we expect to see some additional screenshots in the near future? Thanks.

I think I am looking forward to this DLC the most thus far!
