I posted game from steam here and review as it using unreal 4 engine and trying do same as Panzer Corps 2. AS so it's good point to talk about and for Devs to see and know what's been done.


Having this game out first and trying do same as Panzer Corps 2 think Devs got raise their ideas and also come up with new ideas to. Reading reviews and not many does sound like people do want modernized 3d Panzer General. So far no one not even SSI Panzer General managed it.


As said I put it here as way learn and discuss.

The problem with panzer strategy is that the game is still in alpha version.

Yeah so far it is an early access.

There hoping people will help improve it. My point still true this is competition that Panzer Corps 2 faces.

When you look at Panzer Corps vs Order of battle both good games and both are similar yet different enough. Personal taste I prefer Panzer Corps as simpler to use and see what's is what. I play Panzer Corps more often too. Maybe both games be similar and yet different enough. Problem is Devs would like Panzer Corps 2 to break out and be more successful. To do that it will have to be the better game. There is long term plans to! Will Panzer strategy have big campaigns like Panzer Corps did and all other add ins. Will there be modding community.


Personally I like both to do well and be different enough that they not direct competition, but life doesn't always work out way we want. Generally people won't buy 2 games that are very similar, they buy one they believe to be better game. Maybe buy other when it is on sale.


Would be interesting hear Devs thoughts and opinions.

for me there are 3 essentials improvements for panzer corps 2 to achieve success :

- improved gameplay , better AI , better possibilities for players( seems to be already done )
- better immersion : more customizations, more true names , insigns on units ...
- and the most important for me: a new way to play like : world map , saison campaign each month with points ( u can play only one scenario each day and you could compare your progression with others players at the end of saison ) , a "collection mod" : with unlocking prototype units / very rare units / heroes when you succeed in a difficult campaign.. players could collect cards of units and make even trade the cards with others players..... but here , i think i m dreaming
