I am having an issue in MP with the TT Mode. I can run SP battles and set up an MP challenge using the TT module, but then in the challenges screens it says unknown scenario download the TT Mod. All the folders are downloaded and in the correct folders. Any ideas?

Having the same problem. Also the mod is not wanting to appear when loaded, deleted and then reloaded.

I am getting reports in the FOG2DL of this happening. Two of the reports are around this Cypriot army with the Greek allies. I notice that the dates for the Cypriot army and its Greek allies do not overlap at all, which is unusual. I don't know if that has any bearing on the issue.

In the first post of this thread I have wrote several times in big red letters "DO NOT PUT THIS MOD IN YOUR MAIN GAME BUILD".

Perhaps the letters are not big enough, because that is exactly what you have done!

Read the installation instructions again carefully. I am afraid I cannot repeat them now, as I am away from my pc.

With the mod in the wrong folder, as you have done, you can create challenges, but nobody who has the mod in the right folder will be able to accept it. Also, you will not be able to accept other peoples TT Mod challenges, unless they have made the same mistake as you.

OK, so it is just a simple case of dragging and dropping the mod into . . . My Documents/My Games/FieldOfGlory2/MULTIPLAYER.

Thanks Pete, I am back at my PC now, and can confirm that is the correct destination.

Just for future reference, experience has shown that all TT Mod problems like this are due to two possible causes:

1) The player has pasted the TT mod into the wrong folder, usually the main build.

or

2) The download has been corrupted. Unfortunately, with a file of this size that seems to happen occasionally. So if the player is certain he has the mod in his My Documents/My Games/FieldOfGlory2/MULTIPLAYER folder and is still experiencing problems, he should delete it and download the mod again.

You are talking about the later Cypriot army 549 - 490BC aren't you? It looks like I just carried on using the vanilla allies for that army, Early Classical Greek, forgetting that I had split that particular army into several new armies after 550BC.

I will correct the error in the next version of the TT Mod. For this season you will have to decide whether that Cypriot army has no allies, or if it is okay for the player to turn off the date restriction so that he can use the Early Classical Greeks as allies.

I did see the BIG RED LETTERS. Here is the problem for those of us who are not as familiar with locations of game files. I was not aware that those folders were the main game build, I just saw the same named destination folder and thought I had the right one. But yes I should have looked at the file path a bit more carefully. :oops:

Eventually we may be able to remove the hoplite armies from the Biblical theme altogether - that should solve it!

File downloaded was not in a zip file.
Filename: TT_Mod_MPV1.5.18.rar
Copied it into mygames/Fieldofglory2/multiplayer
Wasn’t recognized at the challenge
Instructions said into a folder same name
Created a folder still didn’t recognize.
Looking at the challenge it said Campaigns was missing so I copied folder into campaigns
Still doesn’t recognize

what am I doing wrong?
