Light foot flank attack?

Haven't played much lately, wanted to double-check something...is a light foot unit that is not already engaged supposed to drop a level if it is hit in the flank? similarly, if a light foot unit is attacked from a diagonal square, and is then attacked again in the same turn from one of the adjacent squares, is it supposed to be a "flank attack"?

I'm pretty sure it is no to both scenarios.

If it already evaded that turn, then engaged or not if hit in the flank it will auto drop

Just to give a full guide to flanking.

-Engaged light or heavy units engaged by other heavy units (including mediums) will autodrop, unless
--The flankers are infantry and the flanked are cavalry.
--The flankers are cavalry and the flanked are elephants.
-Heavy units flanked by light units do not autodrop even when engaged.
-Units that are pursued and then charged in the flank or rear by a second unit autodrop as if they were engaged. The above exceptions apply however.

This is as much as I know about flanking.
