Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
Hello TTmod fans,
First of all, a big thanks to Paul59 who made the Table Top mod (TT mod)!!!
In my file, you will found a lot of new shields skins and some new cloths skins. Some of them have been made by Pdguru.
There is new skin for 67 units!!! and at all more than 200 new skins!!! (complete list below). For this version, I have listen to the advice of Paul59 and laptop666, for more historical choices! So, in the UNITEXTURES file, you only have historical ones. If you like to add the less historical ones, you just have to add it int the TEXTURE file in the TTmod.
This file is an add on for TTmod, so you have to first install TTmod and then add the new skins in it:
To install it:
1) Install TT mod: viewtopic.php?f=477&t=98555
2) Download the file on this link (if you want the latest complete file, choose UNITEXTURE.zip; you can also choose the ones you like in the other zip files):
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/bas2brzcg9k8w/
3) Unzip the file
4) Put the fine in this directory:
C:\Users\Utilisateur\Documents\My Games\FieldOfGlory2\CAMPAIGNS\TT_Mod_CampaignsV1.5.18\Data\BATTLE\UNITTEXTURES
5) When you launch a campaign, choose the TTmod campaign
In bonus, here is the file to shift the mouse pointer with a roman blade with blood (by pinwolf):
1) Download the file on this link:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/3v9hp6c4a ... e.dds/file
2) Put it in this directory:
C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Field of Glory II\Data\UI\Mouse
Enjoy

Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
nice, I'm impressed!
Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
The Achaian skins are beautiful (plus a 40 - 0 win helped too against the Aetolians)
Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
Thanks for your feedback
Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
I like the roman sword mouse pointer. But the point of the blade is made in too dark colour, so there is a proplem to see where one is exactly pointing over dark background colours.
So, I made a personal moded version.

Hi Matlegob
Could you please give a simple guide on converting this so that it can be used for multiplayer and custom battles please?

Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
Oh and one thing i've spotted that didnt happen with TT 1.3.9 is that in the first turn every banner in my opponents army is a Generals banner in size, this changes however after they make their first move.
I've only fought against the Aetolians but it has happened in every game so far (5 as yet)
Nontheless it's not a deal breaker.

Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
this is a bug well know, when we mod the bannersTimDee58 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 9:17 amOh and one thing i've spotted that didnt happen with TT 1.3.9 is that in the first turn every banner in my opponents army is a Generals banner in size, this changes however after they make their first move.

if you want to avoid it just delete the banners file in the mod file
Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
ok: I wille indicate the changes in a future postTimDee58 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 9:13 amOkay all works fine....... can I PLEASE make one small suggestion?
On the in game menus I struggled to differentiate this Mod from the standard (excellent) TT Mod.
I have therefore named my copies (in Campaigns / Custom Battles / Multiplayer) to 1.3.91
Stupid tho it may sound it DOES help differentiate between them
Like I said before, this is an excellent 'Mod of a Mod'.
Would you be able to state what changes you have made to which troops etc etc? It would prevent me having to browse every army list to spot the changes, thanks.
Once again GOOD JOB Matlegob AND The brilliant Paul.
Tim
Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
This happens with all the modded banners I have ever seen, both mine and by other modders. I have not found a solution for it. The problem is worse in Multiplayer, because the full length banners never disappear. That is why I do not include modded banners in the TT Mod.TimDee58 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 9:17 amOh and one thing i've spotted that didnt happen with TT 1.3.9 is that in the first turn every banner in my opponents army is a Generals banner in size, this changes however after they make their first move.

In SP games, you can quickly get rid of the full length banners by waggling the mouse curser over the affected units, it normally puts the banners back to normal.

CREATING CUSTOM AND MULTIPLAYER VERSIONS OF TTMod+
Okay, to take Matlegobs file above and create versions that work with both multiplayer and custom battles follow these easy steps.....
1 - Copy the folder that you downloaded and installed (above) then paste it into the games CAMPAIGN directory (you are already there)....
2 - when it's pasted rename the folder 'Custom Battles'.
3 - Open the new Custom Battles folder and edit TEXT1 document pasting the following over its contents
IDS_CAMPAIGN_NAME,"TTMod+ Custom Battles 1.3.9",
IDS_CAMPAIGN_TEXT,"This is a modification of the standard Rise of Rome and Immortal Fire Campaigns, with extra army lists, more distinctive units, and more unit textures. Now updated to game patch 1.3.9. ~~A special credit is due to 'Little Big Men Studios' for most of the new shield designs in this mod. Stephen Hales (of Little Big Men Studios) has given Paul Adaway permission to use these for this user mod only and no company may take these designs for use without his permission or for sale in any way. The new textures have been added by Matlegob",
4 - Edit the CAMPAIGN.TXT document replacing all of its content with just:
TYPE 2
4a - ADDITIONAL INFO - Go into 'Data' and delete the FOLDER called UI (Thanks Julian
)
5 - You have now created a TTMod+ Custom Battles Folder, the game will find and use this. [Moderator note: In fact you will need to select the TTMod+ Custom Battles module using the "Select another Module" button on the Custom Battle setup screen]
MULTIPLAYER FOR TT+
1 - Copy the entire TTMod+ Custom Battles 1.3.9 Folder.
2 - Go to Multiplayer Directory and paste the folder into it.....
As above edit Text 1 to this:
IDS_CAMPAIGN_NAME,"TTMod+ Multiplayer 1.3.9",
IDS_CAMPAIGN_TEXT,"This is a modification of the standard Rise of Rome and Immortal Fire Campaigns, with extra army lists, more distinctive units, and more unit textures. Thats it (The campaigns document stays as previously edited).!
@Matlegob, no need to rename the files after all, I think this sorts it out nicely

Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins
As an aside I would LOVE to integrate the Mass Effect Mod with this but im afraid Im utterly useless with creating .csv files (I use OpenOffice and dont know what delimiters to use)......
I can edit the data in literally 10 minutes but honestly I just cannot fathom out how to save it as a csv that the game recognises.
