How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just zip the file then attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then not permitted to attach to the forum, where as a zip file is.

please give version type and version number, thanks

build 1.04 etc and steam / site version etc

When reporting a bug or error, these are the kind of things we love to get:

The game output_log.txt . This is in your steam folder under "Steam\steamapps\common\Space Game\BSG_Data"

N.b. You can find your install folder by right-clicking on the game in Steam, selecting Properties, then Local Files and then "Browse Local Files"

Your latest save or autosave if you have one. These are in your steam user folder under "D:\Steam\userdata\{YourUniqueSteamID}\544610\remote

or site version...

The game output_log.txt . This is in the BSG_Data folder inside your install folder. Defaults to C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine\Battlestar Galactica Deadlock\BSG_Data or
The crash log is not so important. Instead, attach The "output_log.txt" file.

The "output_log.txt" file can be found in a subfolder named "BSG_Data" inside the game main installation folder:
C:\Users\YOUR WINDOWS ACCOUNT USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Black Lab Games\BattlestarGalacticaDeadlock

Please note that this file gets cleared every time you restart the game. So when the crash occurs, please grab the file before you restart or any useful information will be gone!
Your latest save or autosave if you have one. These are in your My Documents folder under "Documents\Black Lab Games\BSG"

Any screengrabs / screenshots of the issue in question.

And finally, a simple description of where you were in the game when the bug happened and what you were doing at the time.

Thanks!
