Greek (Mercenary) 460-281 BC is also already taken and thus not available, as you can see in the first post of this thread, in the table of the players' standings.angel42052 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 2:13 amSInce the Gallics have been taken I will go with Greek (Mercenary) 460-281 BC.kronenblatt wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 7:59 pmWelcome, angel! You need to make sure that the army you pick from the second post is not already taken by another player. OK?

What are the constraints for scheduling the follow up match?kronenblatt wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 9:42 pmFirst post updated: tyronec and Badger73 have switched armies and places. Thanks for report.
Also, don't I only switch armies for my rematch against tyronec?
I expected to challenge other players with the original army I picked.

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
What do you mean with "follow up match"?
No, you switch with each of your opponents immediately after your game has been concluded. So now you've switched armies with tyronec (you receiving his Indian 500 BC - 319 AD and he your Roman 340-281 BC), and your current army thus is Indian 500 BC - 319 AD. Which is the army that you will play your next game(s) with, as challenged or challenger.
Basically, armies float around, depending on which player plays against which player, when the different games get concluded, etc. (So your selected Roman 340-281 BC army was just which army for you to start with and to have in the 300 BC league, since it may or may not come back to you temporarily, either as your own army again or as an opponent's army.)

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
SawyerK with the Spanish Celtiberian army defeated MarcoCato75 with the Ptlolemaics by 46-13. This score does not begin to show how close MarcoCato was to victory as the game finished with four fragmented Spanish units hanging by a hair and their entire center dissolving rapidly. The Spaniards were fortunate to have established an early lead in the conflict between the light units as well as benefiting from a rough battle field that hampered their opponents pike units.

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
Thanks for report. As a result, SawyerK exchanges current places and armies with MarcoCato75; thus, SawyerK's new place is now 12 and new army is Ptolemaic 320-218 BC, while MarcoCato75 is in place 13 and with the Spanish (Celtiberian) 300-10 BC army, their respective new armies to be used in the next one or two games (depending on challenges made and games concluded, as per rules). Opening post updated.SawyerK wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 10:38 pm SawyerK with the Spanish Celtiberian army defeated MarcoCato75 with the Ptlolemaics by 46-13. Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
Captainwaltersavage has accepted my challenge, thus:
7 kronenblatt Etruscan 330-280 BC 1600FP (As the challenger, I can decide whether to bring allies to a game, and I've chosen Samnite 355-272 BC in this case.)
versus
5 Captainwaltersavage Macedonian 320-261 BC 1560FP
password: EGL300BC
Enjoy!

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
I misunderstood that particular rule for the tournament. This format isn't really suited for me at the present time. Please remove me from all three period lists. I regret the inconvenience this creates. My best wishes to all the other participants.kronenblatt wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 9:37 pmWhat do you mean with "follow up match"?

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
Hi Andreas
I'd like to join please and use the Rhoxolani
Is there some table you could put together showing us who has played whom. I started on one for 900 AD and I'll attach it to a reply as soon as I have finished it, if that's OK
Cheers
Eric

Rhoxolani 350 BC - 24 AD all yours: welcome to this year too, Eric! No such table currently exists, but it's a good idea and would be happy to see yours.ericdoman1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 8:00 pm Hi Andreas

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
Hi Andreas,
could I possibly join this EG league please.
Like to start with Indian 500 BC - 319 AD if that's Ok.
Hate bows and not very good with elephants, so that should be a giggle, for one game at least.
Thanks Stew.

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
Absolutely, welcome Stew! Since Badger73 dropped out, taking the Indian 500 BC - 319 AD army with him from the league, it's available again and all yours as your starting army! So you're now added to the first post and is good to go challenging. Just read up on the rules, please, in the third post of this thread.

Re: Ever-Green League - 300 BC
SawyerK (11 - Ptolemaic 320-218 BC) has challenged Wellsonian (10 - Spartan 461-291 BC). Wellsonian will play with 1580 points while SawyerK is at 1600 and neither party will use allies. The game PW is 'Wellsonian'.
