Just released a first mini-mod with new game parameters, allowed when starting a new game.


[h2]New Map Size: Gigantic Size[/h2]

This huge 6400 tiles map (instead of 'immense' 2600 or so) is for your super large epic campaigns or multiplayer apocalypse epicness.

With current units speed I do not recommend it yet, but this is the map size I'll use with my next mods.

[h2]New Values: Longtime servers[/h2]

The second modified parameter is the turn timer limit. It now allows for 1 day and 1 week automatic timer limits, thus allowing for automatic turns for your async hosted sessions with your friends.


How to install

- Head to your Steam game folder (game -> properties -> files -> browse file location).
- Make a copy of your Data folder. For safety.
- Or, if you want to save space and don't take 1.4 GB, just save your Data\World and Data\Core folders.

Download zip file here, install and unzip in your steam game folder, and overwrite:

Download this Mod

It overwrites two files, WorldParameters.xml in Data\Core\Languages\English , and the same in Data\World\Blueprints.
Will not work in other languages, but if you request it I can do it.

Thank you for this. I played around with some larger sizes & found "90 90" to, probably, be a good maximum...depending on one's computer I suspect.
"100 100" was a little slow to load but it did load; though I suspect the turns would take awhile per the # of factions & late game.
