This was an astonishing game. After a prolonged skirmishing phase which I lost mainly because Ian's disrupted skirmisher units kept rallying, my main units then got peppered with missiles and I was about 30-0 down after about 15 moves and desperately looking for an enemy unit to rout in order to avoid a whitewash. But then my routed units started rallying and suddenly I was desperately hoping to hold out for 24 turns for a draw. I managed to last 23 turns and only lost then because one of Ian's pike blocks (with leader), which was fragmented, survived 8 successive melee rolls without breaking. If it had broken then the game would have gone into the last turn and a draw might have occurred. Well played, Ian.
