Perhaps google translation can do the job.

There are only reserve places at the moment.

Thanks very much, herm. I have sent a PM to Koban55 this morning introducing you and seeing if he wants to take some reserve places up.

I have some interest from Koban55, a French player, so I am reserving reserve places for the lowest divisions in Late Antiquity, Early Middle Ages and Biblical for the next 48 hours or so, while we translate some of the more arcane practices of the FOG2DL.

Everything is progressing well now. All the army allocations have now been done. I did make a couple of mistakes and they have been successfully challenged by the players involved. Slitherine have agreed to sponsor the tournament again so prize vouchers are up for grabs once more. I have written the fixture list for the Themed Event and that will be published on Friday. We do have a pretty good spread of reserves again so we should be able to cover any last minute withdrawals. Anders (hidde) has been working hard on the new tables and charts and they are just about ready now. If there are any other issues please let me know.

Individual "Welcome to the FOG2DL" messages have been sent out to everyone this morning. It is very helpful to me to do this as I know that anyone not opening this message in the next 4 or 5 days is possibly going to be a non-starter. If I can pick up non-starters early then there is much less disruption to the tournament as we have a number of reserves waiting for a chance to play.

I have had two requests from players to change an allocated army overnight and the answer has been "no" in both instances. There is a quite tightly defined procedure now for allocating armies using the FOG2DL ratings and I cannot overturn that at the last moment because players have changed their minds. It would just open the door to other players wanting to do the same thing and it would cause me quite a few problems at the start of each season. There is plenty of time before the tournament starts to choose armies (around 10 days before the army allocation is done) and players should use that time to carefully make their choices.

Biblical: winners post your results here . . .

Post by stockwellpete »

Please use the following format when reporting your results . . .

Division A

hidde (Assyrians) beat stockwellpete (Elamites) 50-25

It is very helpful to me if we all get used to reporting the results in the same way, so please report the score as 50-25 rather than 25-50. This avoids much confusion when discussing match situations by PM with regards to adjudication or some other issue regarding the rules of the tournament.
