Re: Reserve places are now available . . .

Post by Triarii » Sun Jan 26, 2020 10:49 pm

Hi Pete
Army choices where i am first reserve.

Early Medieval
1 Khorasanian 821-1003 with Dialami 928-1055 allies
2 Andalusian 756-1049 with Navarre 778-899 allies
3 German 933-1049 + Polish 966-1057 allies
4 Hindu (North) 600-1049 with Rajput 650-1049 allies

Late Antiquity
1 Byzantine 579-599 with Bedouin 300-636 allies
2 Sassinid Persian 477-590 with Bedouin 300-636 allies
3 Arab (City) 300-633 with Sassanid Persian 477-590 allies
4 Frankish 496-599 with Visigothic 419-621 allies

I see there are already two reserves ahead of me in Classical so I'll add lists for that only in unlikely event they are needed.

The army allocations for Classical Antiquity are now available. Please check your own entry and let me know if there are any mistakes. Out of the 40 players in the list, 32 players received their first choice, 5 their second choice and just 2 their third selection. You have 4-5 days now to get a quick practice match in or ponder your first army line-up in single player. Good luck everyone. :D

The Viking armies were not bolded to be an exempt from the "one army per nation in each division", but division D has two Viking armies. Is this an oversight, or was the bolding of Viking armies erroneusly omitted from the original list?

It is because I treat the Viking and "Irish" Viking armies as separate. It is arguable, I know, but Irish allies chosen with the "Irish" Viking list makes them quite distinctive.

There will be a slight delay to the allocation process for Division C as Hyde77 is in touch now and I hope he can send me his army choices in the next hour or so.

Players will need to have the base game, the Legions Triumphant DLC, the Age of Belisarius DLC and the Wolves at the Gate DLC to enter this section of the tournament.

The final % scores for each player are taken from the in-battle display in the top left-hand corner of the screen and not the Final Losses screen that appears after the battle has ended where losses are adjusted for wounded and deserted troops.

Reporting the result of a match is the responsibility of the winning player. However, if you are the loser in a match and notice that the result has not been posted within 24 hours please post the result yourself. This helps to keep the league tables up to date.

Please be sure to familiarise yourself with both the Rules of Competition and the Players' Guide.

Re: Divisional line-up and army allocations for Late Antiquity . . .

Post by stockwellpete » Mon Jan 27, 2020 4:32 pm

I have had one error pointed out to me in Division A. Initially I gave Morbio and XLegione exactly the same Roman army, which is not allowed. As Morbio received his army allocation before XLegione he gets to keep the Roman army and XLegione has been allocated his fourth choice instead. Sorry about that.

Do we have any French speakers this season?

Post by stockwellpete » Mon Jan 27, 2020 9:31 pm

I have been contacted by a French player "Koban55" to play in the FOG2DL. I have explained that there are only reserve places at the moment. Is there a French speaker who would be happy to help explain things to "Koban55"? Particularly if a reserve place were to become available? Thanks.

Perhaps google translation can do the job.

There are only reserve places at the moment.

Google translation: il n'y a que des places de réserve pour le moment

Thanks very much, herm. I have sent a PM to Koban55 this morning introducing you and seeing if he wants to take some reserve places up.
