ConstantinIX (Roman 24 BC–196 AD with Jewish 64 BC-6 AD allies) beat stockwellpete (British 600-1030AD with Viking 900-1039 AD allies) 16-0 (My opponent surrendered)
Thanks for the game.
I didn't share the vision of a clear victory for the Romans as my C-and-C was badly mauled by the two opposing units and could have broke in the center of my army reversing most of my initial advantage.

klayeckles (indo-greek+indian allies) defeats elrawen (macedonian 260+greek) 62:49
an epic battle for the historians to ramble about for ages. macedonians were stuck with some very challenging terrain on their side of the field, with a large steep hill flanked by deep forests on both sides. rather than deploy into it, they chose to wait far back by their baggage train. The Indos advanced confidently into the woods and up the hill with a preponderance of MF well suited for the terrain. but the Macedonian general laid a brilliant trap...deploying most of his troops as MF as well...with a large number set in ambush in the woods. They pounced on the Indian troops that stumbled into the woods...and soon the indians were in a deep jam...even sending their bowmen into the thickets. It looked like the macedonians had things in hand, as the outflanking force sent by the indians ran into a phalynx and thracians led by the general himself. the indians looked ready to run. but on the furthest flank the indians managed to drive off the enemy cavalry and in the fading light the indian wing swung all the way back to crash into the macedonians. As darkness fell the the indian bowmen led a final charge into the exposed and weakened flanks of several macedonian cohorts...winning the battle on the final turn. WHEW! a good lesson from an up and coming new player. GG!

Schweetness101 (Andalusian 756-1049 AD) defeats edb1815 (Arab North Africa 1000-1160 AD with Byzantine allies) 44-10
here was the battle around turn 5:
https://i.imgur.com/dVIbd1C.jpg
and the end:
https://i.imgur.com/Apjj0Zq.jpg
I went with expensive infantry and cheap cavalry, and edb did about the opposite. His cav on the his left were held up (ZoC'ed) by cheap spears and shot by massed archers, light foot and some light horse, and finished by cheaper light spear cav, and so didn't manage to get through and flank left. In the middle the Andalusian superior spears were mostly able to win against the average muslim spears and skutatoi of the Arab list (except the one Andalusian veteran spear that pushed back and got annihilated on both flanks).
gg to edb1815
