Didn't read the whole thread. How many players will be there?
I guess there will be a single elimination match rather than 2 games per pair (?)

There will be 64 players and yes, it will be one match each round. The aim of the tournament is to fill in the space between seasons of the FOG2 Digital League and hopefully recruit some new players to that competition. (stockwellpete)

That's a shame, I know Tim is a good player and very pleasant too. He would add to the challenge and general enjoyment of the tournament (yes... I recommended that he join the tournament). However I understand our moderator and tournament organiser's position on this - it makes sense to me. Hopefully Tim can participate in a future tournament.

The tournament is now full. There are just a few players who have still to choose their army. The first round draw will take place "live" on this forum on Monday 30 April at 9am (GMT) and players will be able to start their matches as soon as they like after then. A lot of Roman army choices and a sizeable group of horse archer armies too by the looks of it. It should be an interesting competition.

I was wondering if I could be allowed to change my Romans with Palmyrans. Ok then (stockwellpete)

It's a problem of fashion ... they seem to fit my play style better!
