Here are structures than can improve one unit stationed in the region per turn. I don't see why the Master Fletcher improves melee attack.

Regarding your comment on the Master Fletcher, refer to the narrative posted on Grognerd's Steam Guide https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 1796786043 It mentions that the +1 is to the ranged attack, and I can confirm that this is correct as I have recently built one. There is no melee bonus from the Master Fletcher that I have found. So the most up-to-date guide is Grognerd's in my experience: Hopefully that answers your question! :)

I can't take a screen shot, because you must depress Ctrl and cursor over the unit to see the effect of these bonuses. However, the Master Fletcher adds +1 to the Attack number, not the Ranged Attack number. In his guide, the picture even has "+1 Att". You can check it yourself by doing the Ctrl+cursor over an affected unit. For my improved light cavalry it read "Attack 2 (+1)" instead of Attack 1, and the Ranged Attack was still 7. The movement also improved +1, but not the defense.

My experience has been the same as ChoppinIt-increase in ranged attack. Is it possible the +1 for attack is due to some other factor such as general?

Well I have version 1.1.0 (x1000606). Maybe this was fixed in an update that I don't have, but when I Ctrl+cursor over affected units, I get what I posted, not increased Ranged Attack.

Interesting... I'm running the same version. I have had the Master Fletcher for some time and I can definitely say that the only thing impacted is the range attack in my game. I have sent foot skirmishers, light cav, archers, and horse archers. I have also sent provincial and non-provincial units, and they all receive a +1 ranged attack only. I just confirmed that the stack of Pamphylian archers currently occupying the Master Fletcher has a mix of 8 and 9 ranged attack ratings (i.e. 2 have been upgraded and 2 are in the process). No melee buffs are detected, though I will say that I didn't check if movement was impacted. I have not noticed it before though.

I checked the code and Master Fletcher increases ranged attack.

Load this game file. The army stack at the eastern edge has the light cavalry with "Attack 2 (+1)". They were upgraded by the Master Fletcher in the region of Persis province.

The bonus comes from Miltiades ability in open terrain...
